Kelly Brook is feeling floral as she enjoys the last day of Ischia mini-break

She may have been complaining about the Italian men ogling her, but there's no chance of them ignoring Kelly Brook in her latest bikini.

Enjoying the last day of her mini-break on the Italian island of Ischia, the model showcased her famous curves in yet another skimpy piece of swimwear.

The 31-year-old was spotted chatting to a friend on a pier in pink floral halterneck two-piece, while she carried a Louis Vuitton handbag.

Strolling with a friend, the former Big Breakfast presenter looked like she making the most of her last day on the island in the Bay of Naples before she heads home to her boyfriend Thom Evans.

Despite her late night partying, Brook looked fresh-faced as she chatted to her brunette pal.

During her short break in the island to attend the Ischia Global Film And Music Festival, Brook has been delighting the local men with her collection of bikinis.

After flaunting her figure in a cream, then turquoise two-piece, Brook complained on her Twitter page  that Italian men were ogling her like she was an ice cream.

On Thursday, she wore a £170 aquamarine Vix Bia two-piece, which left very little to the imagination.

Kelly, 31, took a dip in the sea with her U.S. agent Justin Deanda, who took her to Italy to attend the Ischia Global Film And Music Festival in Naples.

She climbed up the steps to dry off in the sun, using a towel to help soak up the sea water, as she climbed back on her sun lounger.

Kelly has been staying at the L'Albergo Della Regina Isabella on the island in the Bay Of Naples and brought a friend along with her.

Built on ancient Greek-Roman ruins on the seashore, it was built in the Dolce Vita era of the 1950s.

Her rugby star boyfriend Thom Evans didn't join her on the trip as it was very short and she will be returning to the UK this weekend.

Her spokesman told Mail Online: 'She's gone out with her U.S. agent but will back at the weekend and no, Thom isn't joining her as it's a quick trip.'

On Thursday night, Kelly was snapped partying the night away in a bright pink satin dress.

As ever, the British model looked immaculate, but she did throw caution to the wind by kicking off her silver heels to dance with fellow partygoers.

Celebrations were in full swing following the film festival, with a host of famous faces among the revellers.

Eli Roth, who was sporting an enviable tan that hinted he has been holidaying or had a recent sunbed splurge, was clearly having a ball.

The Hostel director removed his shoes to paddle in the sea, throwing his arm in the air in a similar fashion to John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever.

Roth, who enjoyed a brief fling with Peaches Geldof, later performed to guests by grabbing the microphone and singing barefoot.

Oscar-winning actor Forest Whitaker, Czech model Karolina Kurkova and producer Pascal Vicedomini were also in attendance.

It is a delight to see Kelly smiling again, as the 31-year-old was in need of a good time following her recent tragedy.

Just two months ago, the brunette beauty lost the child she had been expecting to welcome in August.

Carla Bruni shows off her baby bump at Bregancon Fort in the South of France

With her bump proudly on show and a beaming smile across her face, Carla Bruni looks overjoyed to be expecting her second child at the age of 43.

But the French First Lady has admitted the baby was both 'unexpected and unhoped for'.

In an interview with a French magazine, Miss Bruni admitted that the impending birth of her first child with President Nicolas Sarkozy – they both have children from previous relationships – was a complete surprise.

Since marrying Mr Sarkozy in 2008, following a whirlwind romance of just 80 days, she has often spoken of the difficulties a couple of their age might have in producing a child.

Mr Sarkozy is 56 and the baby is due in October, just two months before Miss Bruni's 44th birthday.

But speaking to Nice-Matin magazine, the model-turned-singer said the fact that the couple were expecting had made it 'a magnificent period in my life'.

She said: 'I'm making an album, but it's not quite finished yet because of this happiness to come, unexpected and unhoped for.'

She also played down rumours that she was expecting a boy, saying: 'I don't know myself! There are things that we need to keep secret.'

Miss Bruni admitted she had spent the last few weeks resting in the Fort de Bregancon, a presidential holiday home on the French Riviera.

'For me, these are rest days, really.  In my state, I'm incredibly lucky to stay here, rather than in the city.

'And I'm waiting for my husband to come and join me this weekend, before we all go on holiday as a family in August.'

Asked if the baby will affect the way the couple are viewed, Miss Bruni, who is five inches taller than her husband, said: 'I don't know.

'The way people look at us from outside is so different from what we are in our private life. It's so out of sync that it's difficult to adjust their vision to reality.'

She also insisted that Mr Sarkozy will stand as president again next year, despite his current unpopularity in the polls, saying: 'Yes, I wish it for France.'

Miss Bruni already has a  ten-year-old son, Aurelian, from her relationship with Raphael Enthoven, a Paris philosopher.

Mr Sarkozy has two sons, Pierre, 26, and Jean, 25, from his first marriage and Louis, a 14-year-old son, from his second.

Political opponents have criticised the couple, claiming the birth is ideally timed to happen just ahead of Mr Sarkozy's campaign for the presidential elections in May 2012.

France's Marianne news magazine said a baby would be a 'perfect marketing tool', adding: 'It is  a “marketing-baby” that will be born just before the last months of presidential campaigning really get going.'

Fueling claims that she is a Marie Antoinette figure enjoying an easy life at taxpayers' expense, Miss Bruni said: '[Being] First Lady of France is not a burden.

'The weight of office falls on my husband. Doing this for three years has been a lot less tiring than spending ten years as a model.'

The First Lady not only missed the 14th July Bastille Day ceremony in Paris, but also the Monaco royal wedding earlier this month.

Asked if the fort was luxurious enough for her, Ms Bruni-Sarkozy paid tribute to Bernadette Chirac, her predecessor as First Lady.

Ms Bruni-Sarkozy said: ‘I haven’t touched anything, not even a curtain. It is very comfortable. I wouldn’t call it Spartan. It’s above all magnificent. It’s undoubtedly due to the legacy of Bernadette Chirac, a real housekeeper. Me, I’m a bit more bohemian.

‘For me, these are rest days, really. In my state, I’m incredibly lucky to stay here, rather than in the city. And I’m waiting for my husband to come and join me this weekend, before we all go on holiday as a family in August.’

Asked if an Elysee Palace baby will effect the way the couple are viewed, Mrs Bruni-Sarkozy, who is five inches taller than her husband, said: ‘I don’t know. The way people look at us from outside is so different from what we are in our private life.

'It’s so out of sync that it’s difficult to adjust their vision to reality.’

French media have suggested that the birth of couple's first baby is ideally timed to happen just ahead of Sarkozy’s campaign for the presidential elections in May 2012.

France’s Marianne news magazine said a baby would be a ‘perfect marketing tool’ for the Sarkozys ahead of the elections.

The news magazine said: 'Politically speaking, the timing of this pregnancy is perfect. It is a ‘marketing-baby’ that will be born just before the last months of presidential campaigning really get going.'

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson is dressed to kill in her Chanel pistol heels

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson is feeling better than she has done in years after undergoing an operation to reconstruct her nose.

So it appears the 39-year-old's newfound confidence is being reflected in her flamboyant footwear.

The former 'It girl' was dressed to kill - quite literally - yesterday as she stepped out in a pair of Chanel pistol high heels.

And after going through quite an ordeal with her killer heels, TPT is probably enjoying wearing them.

Two years ago, the £1,000 designer shoes were embarrassingly confiscated by Swiss customs officials during one of Palmer-Tomkinson's trip to her home in Klosters.

Over-cautious officers in Zurich airport were concerned her shoes - which contain a real, customised gun in place of the heel - could be a weapon and detained them as she attempted to fly home to England.

Although she bought the heels in England, they managed to travel to Switzerland without any problems, the Mail's Richard Kay reported.

The heels ended up spending five days in the customs office before Palmer-Tomkinson's lawyers could retrieve them.

The heels caused quite a stir in the fashion world due to the controversial connotation of the gun in the heel.

They were first worn by Madonna at a New York film premiere in September 2008 and have also been sported by Ashlee Simpson.

Meanwhile, Palmer-Tomkinson has broken her silence over her surgery on her nose, which took place six weeks ago.

She told She magazine: ''I can’t tell you how wonderful I feel - like a different person.

'Before, I didn’t want to go out, I didn’t want to date. And now I want to go out, I want to date again. I feel 10 years younger. I feel really excited. I feel I’m symmetrical again - inside and out.'

Ashley Cole was pictured with a mystery brunette last month in LA - and certainly appeared to be relaxed in her company

He has managed to win back Cheryl Cole, much to the dismay of many of her friends and family.

But Ashley Cole’s reunion with his ex-wife may not be as straightforward as he hoped.

At least three girls are set to claim they enjoyed recent liaisons with the Chelsea footballer around the time he was trying to woo Cheryl earlier this month, the Daily Mail has learned.

At her 28th birthday party at the start of this month, Mrs Cole left onlookers in no doubt that she was back with the man whose string of alleged affairs ended their marriage.

The pair’s very public display of affection came only eight months after their divorce was finalised.

But it is now alleged that Cole, 30,  was enjoying trysts with at least three women despite trying to win back his ex-wife at the same time.

One is believed to be a 29-year-old Virgin Atlantic air hostess, who has claimed she spent the night with Cole only a few weeks ago at a mansion he had hired in Beverly Hills.

The pretty stewardess, who is British, is said to be ready to make her claims public and has contacted Max Clifford to help broker her story.

Cole had been holidaying in Los Angeles before flying to London to attend Cheryl’s party on July 1.

A source close to the air hostess said: ‘She was with Ashley a few times, the most recent was just a couple of weeks ago. Cheryl’s at her most vulnerable, and Ashley sees an opportunity to get her back.’

Another friend said: ‘She had no idea Ashley was in the process of getting back with Cheryl and was horrified when she found out. She would never have gone near him had she known. She feels really bad for Cheryl.’

The other two girls are believed to be bikini models who Cole met in Hollywood. Last night, Mr Clifford told the Mail: ‘In recent weeks, three girls have been in touch with me claiming to have had recent relationships with Ashley Cole.

They will be coming to see me and I’ll see if there is any evidence to back up these allegations.’

Mrs Cole, who was axed as a judge from the U.S. X Factor in May, has been in Los Angeles for the past week. Cole will this week join Chelsea on a pre-season tour of Asia.

Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, a close friend of Mrs Cole, told how the star had never wanted to divorce.

The pair married in 2006 but Mrs Cole finally filed for divorce in May last year after rumours he had had flings with at least five other women.

Speaking of their reconciliation, Fergie said: ‘It’s easy for people to say she’s crazy taking him back, but life isn’t as simple as that. She should go for it if that’s what she wants. She really loved him and didn’t want to get divorced, she just felt she had no choice.’

But she added: ‘The next chance will be Ashley’s last chance, there’s no doubt about that. Cheryl’s a lot stronger than she was two years ago. The relationship will be on her terms.’

Last night, a representative for Cole told the Mail: ‘My client was not in a relationship at this time.’

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony announce shock split after seven years of marriage

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have split after seven years together.

The couple, who are parents to three-year-old twins Max and Emme, made the shock announcement in a joint statement this afternoon.

'We have decided to end our marriage,' they said.

'This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.'

'It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.'

The split comes as a surprise to fans given the pair's recent and quite public displays of affection.

Lopez, 41, who this year joined American Idol as a judge, accompanied Anthony, 42, on stage while he performed during the show's finale on May 25, ending the racy performance with a passionate kiss.

They were last pictured together at the unveiling of her Boy's and Girl's Club billboard in Times Square in New York on June 10.

There was certainly no sign of trouble as the Puerto Rican singer turned out to support his wife, holding her hand and giving her a peck on the lips.

However, Anthony was notably absent at the BAFTA Brits to Watch party in Los Angeles on on Saturday night.

Lopez instead took her mother Guadalupe to meet Prince William and Duchess Kate.

During their marriage, the pair mixed business with pleasure.

In 2005, they collaborated on Lopez's first full-length Spanish language album, Como Ama Una Mujer (How a Woman Loves).

They also starred together in 2007's El Cantante, a film about salsa king Hector Lavoe.

That same year, they took their love on the road as they teamed up for a tour and in November, Lopez announced she was pregnant.

In April this year, they announced plans for a television show together, Q'Viva! The Chosen, with Simon Fuller, the creator of Idol.

The show was to feature the superstar couple as they traveled the world to find the best performers in Latin music, dance and other arts with the goal of creating a live extravaganza.

The show had no airdate, and it's unclear if it will continue.

While they both shared ambitions for professional success, they were also focused on raising their twins and Lopez recently hinted that more children were be on the cards.

'I think Marc would like to have more kids,' she said in January this year. 'We talk about it.'

Lopez and Anthony began their relationship just three weeks after her very high profile engagement to Ben Affleck was called off in January 2004.

In June that same year, they said 'I do' in a secret ceremony at her lavish Beverly Hills home.

At the time of their wedding, the ink was still drying from Anthony's divorce from first wife, former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres.

After flaunting her romances with exes Affleck and rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs in the media, Lopez opted for a low key approach and didn't publicly acknowledge her marriage for another eight months.

Of course, Lopez had been married twice before; to restaurateur Ojani Noa, whom she split from in 1998, and to former backup dancer Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003.

Anthony has two sons Cristin, 10, and Ryan, 7, from his first marriage to Torres. He also has a teen daughter, Arianna, from a previous relationship.

The pair renewed their wedding vows in 2008 and again last year as they celebrated their sixth anniversary.

In a VH1 documentary Behind The Music recorded last year, Lopez revealed she had briefly dated Anthony in her youth, ending it because neither was ready to settle down.

When they met up again to record a track together for Lopez's movie Shall We Dance, they reignited the flame.

'We reconnected like we had never been apart,' she recalled.

'It was really the same chemistry and connection we had at the very beginning.'

Anthony added: 'That's when we knew - we'd matured enough, seen enough and lived enough to know that we were wasting our time not being together.

'I couldn't be more in love. I say it every day - I'm the luckiest man on earth.'

Lopez, who topped People magazine's 'most beautiful' list this year, has scored hit songs with If You Had My Love and Jenny from the Block. She also has become a top star in romantic comedy movies, most recently appearing in 2010 film The Back-up Plan.

As well as working on American Idol, her latest single On The Floor has been a top ten hit in several countries.

Anthony is a two-time Grammy winner and the top selling salsa artist of all time. His hit songs include Si Tu No Te Fueras and Contra La Corriente.

Brooke Mueller and Paris Hilton had a row after Brooke was a no show on a blind date Paris had set her up on, causing Brooke to storm out

She is apparently now clean and sober after completing another stint in rehab.

But as Brooke Mueller struggled with addiction, her behaviour managed to alienate those closest to her, including her best friend Paris Hilton.

On tonight's episode of the heiress's reality show: The World According To Paris, the friends had a falling out which ended with Brooke storming out of Paris's house after admitting she had suffered a relapse.

Brooke had managed to infuriate the reality star when she was a no show on a blind date set up by the star's boyfriend Cy Waits.

Paris was furious when Brooke didn't show up to meet Jason, who had flown in from Las Vegas especially.

'I'm so mad right now,' she complained. 'Don't have a guy waiting at a restaurant. That's beyond rude. I don't even want to see her, I'm so p*****,' she added.

Things went from bad to worse when the pair paid a visit to Brooke's house, only to learn that the troubled 33-year-old had spent hours at the home of her former husband Charlie Sheen.

'I understand if she wants to get back together with her ex husband,' Paris complained to her mother Kathy. 'But she shouldn't be begging me to set her up on dates.'

According to Paris, Brooke is a little tricky to set up on dates.

'When you google her, you find all these crazy stories and most of them are not true,' she said.

When the troubled star eventually did surface, looking wild eyed and dishevelled, her efforts at damage control failed, with Paris's mother Kathy giving her a lecture.

'You're a grown woman, an adult,' she said. 'You have to be responsible for your actions.'

Brooke said: 'Sometimes I really miss Charlie'  adding that she felt 'confusing emotions,' claiming she had not seen the troubled actor 'for a year. '

The couple's divorce was finalised back in May and she has primary custody of their twin sons Bob and Max.

However, her visit to Charlie managed to get some unwanted press for Brooke when it was wrongly reported she was getting back together with the troubled Two and a Half Men star.

And while Brooke told her therapist she felt 'terrible' for letting Paris down, The Simple Life star was refusing to take her calls.

Undeterred, Brooke stormed into Paris's house for a confrontation, which ended with her admitting to Paris she had suffered a relapse.

'I had a slip and it was very brief,' Brooke told the star. 'It made me forget about meeting Jason and it made me totally irresponsible.'

But that wouldn't wash with Paris who said: 'When you get that stuff inside you, it's like the devil inside of you.'

Inevitably, the pair ended up not speaking with Brooke storming out of the house shouting a cursory 'f*** you' to the heiress.

It had all started so well, with the well-intentioned Paris determined to help Brooke get over her man drought.

'Brooke hasn't had sex for almost a year since Charlie so she's probably such a hornball right now,' she told her cousin Brookie during a shopping trip.

The star later gave giving her cousin  the benefit of some man advice, confiding in her that she is afraid Brooke would sleep with Jason on the first date.

'Guys want to work for it,' she said. 'I'm going to put a damn chastity belt on that woman.'

Earlier, Brooke, Paris and her mother Kathy were seen being visited by a psychic, who informed Paris that she would have 'two kids and get married in your thirties.'

However, the psychic did not tell Paris that her boyfriend Cy was 'the one.'

The star is also seen working out at the gym and having her mouth taped to for the 'No Hate' anti- Proposition 8 campaign to promote gay marriage.

'California is supposed to be one of the most liberal states in the US but gay people can't even get married here,' she said.

'Everyone should stop worrying about gay marriage and go talk to that freak on that TV show who has like three or four wives, now he is a total perve," she added.

Playboy model Shauna Sand and her toy boy husband Laurent Homburger enjoy the water in Miami

Long blonde hair, a deep tan and surgically-enhanced cleavage are hardly a rare sight in Miami.

But former Playboy model Shauna Sand still managed to attract attention as she paraded on the beach today.

The 39-year-old had to share the spotlight with her toyboy husband Laurent Homburger though, who attracted just as many stares in his small black swimsuit.

The couple held hands as they waded in the water.

Shauna wore a tiny pink bikini, that showed off her trim figure, breast implants and Playboy bunny tattoo off.

She ensured her carefully applied lip gloss on her plumped up lips, and her long blonde locks remained perfect as she tiptoed into the water.

Her 25-year-old husband didn't mind getting his own bouffant wet though, slicking his long hair back as they returned to the beach.

The couple lazed on the sun loungers, lapping up the sunshine, before Shauna got back to the business of posing.

The long-limbed blonde stood next to her husband's deck chair and pouted for photographers, while he was more interested in checking his phone.

As they left the beach and headed back to their hotel, Shauna added a pair of towering 'stripper heels' to her tiny bikini.

the couple's happy smiles put put paid to the reports that they are on the brink of splitting after just one year of marriage.

The New York Daily News reported that Sand was seeking an end to the marriage after a turbulent few months which saw her file a restraining order against Homburger after both were arrested following an argument in May.

Sand was previously married to Frenchman Romain Chavent who she divorced in 2008 after two years of marriage.

The model is known for her roles in TV shows Charmed and Renegade, where she met her first husband Loerenzo Lamas, who she wed in 1996, the same year she was named May's Playmate of the month.

They have three children together Alexandra, 13, Victoria, 11 and Isabella 10.

Christie Brinkley looked sensational as she made her West End debut last night as Roxie Hart in Chicago

Christie Brinkley made her debut on the London stage last night as Roxie Hart in Chicago - and landed a standing ovation and a huge bouquet of flowers after bringing the house down.

Wearing a skimpy black silk playsuit, the mother-of-three looked decades younger than her 57 years as she strutted her stuff as the murderous vaudeville star after taking over from Sarah Soetaert in the role.

The star was meant to start in her role three days ago, but had to postpone her debut when her mother Marjorie Hudson fell ill.

However, she arrived in the UK last Saturday after confirming on her official Facebook that her mother was on the mend and started rehearsals at the Cambridge Theatre on Monday.

Writing ahead of the curtain rise last night, she said: 'I am working with yet another bunch of amazingly talented performers and the whole crew from the stage door to the dressing room are so sweet and really lovely! I am a very luck person...(.and so are my parents who thankfully, are both doing well!!!)'

At the weekend, she'd posted on her Twitter: 'From New England to Jolly Old England. ....I send you all good CHEER! Tally Ho and Pip Pip! My parents are on the mend,(thank you all for your kindness!)...

'I am off to rehearse on the West End tomorrow! Arrived last night..here I am on the way from the airport to London town!'

The original Uptown Girl Christie has transferred from the Broadway version of the musical.

She has transferred to the West End with her Broadway co-star Amra-Faye Wright, who joins the cast at the Cambridge Theatre as Velma Kelly.

Starring alongside them is Robbie Williams's best friend Jonathan Wilkes as Billy Flynn.

At the time when she had to delay her start, she said: 'I am very sorry for the inconvenience and changes to the schedule in London,' she said in a statement.

'I thank my producers and new cast mates for being so flexible and understanding and look forward to giving it my all in dedication to my loving, generous and supportive parents who set me on this Broadway adventure, which now leads me to London's prestigious West End, when my Dad said "take it".'

Bob Fosse musical Chicago opened in the U.S. in 1976 and first opened in the West End in 1979.

It was then revived in 1997 - and has been on ever since.

Over in New York where she made her Broadway debut, Christie has been heaped with critical praise for her part in the show, which sees her belt out the murderous chorus girl's signature tune Roxie as well as Funny Honey and My Own Best Friend.

One of the most famous faces in the world, Christie began modelling in the 70s and quickly became one of the most famous cover girls in the world.

She starred in the music video for Uptown Girl and made her acting debut in 1983 opposite Chevy Chase in the film National Lampoon's Vacation.

More recently she made a guest appearance in TV fashion comedy Ugly Betty.

Christie and her American co-star will take their final bows in the UK version of Chicago meanwhile on 6 August.

Abbey Clancy carries on the party and looks a little worse for wear on first solo night out as a married woman

She's only just got back from her honeymoon on the party island of Ibiza after tying the knot with footballer Peter Crouch - but it seems the model formerly known as Abbey Clancy isn't quite ready to stop celebrating just yet.

The 25-year-old Liverpudlian model was seen leaving Harry's Bar in London's Mayfair last night - and looking a tad worse for wear.

The blonde beauty, who married 30-year-old Tottenham and England star Peter on 30 June, was wearing dramatic floor length black wrap dress with - but ended up showing off more than she intended.

Lingerie model Abbey had enjoyed an evening out at chic South Audley Street nightspot Harry's Bar, a private members' club - and she inadvertently revealed her underwear on the way out.

Not exactly unexpected if your designer outfit is slashed to the thigh.

The model was having a rare night out since giving birth to her and Peter's first baby Sophia four months ago.

Peter meanwhile was last night in South Africa with his Tottenham Hotspur teammates.

They flew out yesterday to play in the Vodacom Challenge tournament as part of their pre-season preparations.

Abbey wed her 6ft 7ins footballer in a stunning Giles Deacon bridal gown said to have cost £10,000 at the four star Stapleford Park hotel in Leicestershire.

At the reception, the couple broke with tradition by having their closest friends at the top table with them, with their respective families sitting on separate tables.

Despite expectations of lots of celebrity guests, only Crouch's footballer pals, Liverpool's Glen Johnson and former Aston Villa player Lee Hendrie were invited.

Clancy and Crouch's honeymoon in Ibiza earlier this month came just a fortnight after they returned from a family vacation in Sardinia with baby Sophia.

Elizabeth Hurley joins Chace Crawford on the Upper East Side to film new Gossip Girl role

She hasn't made too many memorable marks on the acting world recently, preferring to concentrate more on her modelling and fashion career.

But Elizabeth Hurley seemed to fit right in today as she stepped out on to the New York set of Gossip Girl in the guise of her glamorous character Diana Payne.

And the star was looking much younger than her 46 years as she filmed a scene with actor Chace Crawford.

With her long brown hair highlighted, she looked stunning in a sleeveless scarlet red dress, nude heels and a designer beige bag, while Crawford, 25 wore a more casual checked shirt and jeans.

At one point, the actor, who plays blue blooded Nate Archibald in the show, looked focussed as he filmed an intense-looking scene with Hurley.

The actress cut a striking figure in the low cut dress, which also showed off her long slim legs.

Earlier the pair were spotted looking more relaxed as they rehearsed the scene, dressed in casual clothes.

They both clutched scripts and laughed and chatted as they stood together on the New York side walk.

Elizabeth still looked stylish in the casual ensemble which included oversized sunglasses, a peach camisole and jeans.

It was recently announced that she would be joining the teen cast for several episodes on the forthcoming fifth series of the show.

TV Line.com reported that executive producers Stephanie Savage and Joshua Safran have said Hurley's character is ‘a sexy, smart, self-made media mogul and all-around force to be reckoned with.

‘Diana’s entrance on the Upper East Side will change the lives of all our characters - including, and especially Gossip Girl herself,' they said.

‘Elizabeth’s sense of humour, intelligence and beauty fit the GG world perfectly. We feel very fortunate to have her.’

A few days ago,Hurley tweeted her excitement at joining the cast, which also include stars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester.

'Reading my script for Gossip Girl, episode 1, season 5,' she wrote. 'Can't give anything away but it's FAB! Can't wait to shoot it.'

However, she seemed to be finding the temperatures a little too much too take.

Earlier today, she wrote: 'New York was fiendishly hot yesterday-bit better today. Gorgeous though.'

The actress and model is currently dating Australian cricketer Shane Warne who she met last July at the Goodwood festival.

And Elizabeth's latest role may add some pressure to an-already tricky long distance relationship.

She told Grazia magazine: 'The biggest problem is we're 23 hours apart. It's a challenge. We'll see what happens.'

Kelly Brook gets the eye from Italian men as she sports figure-hugging 1950s style dress on holiday in Naples

Kelly Brook's smile was almost as sunny as the weather yesterday as the star enjoyed a day trip to Naples on her Italian summer holiday.

The 31-year-old model and actress had turned tourist as she strolled the streets of old Napoli before taking to the waves on a boat trip.

The beaming star was wearing a gorgeous 1950s-style sundress with a cute seaside print and had teamed it with cute lemon yellow plimsolls with white soles and a chic Louis Vuitton handbag.

The brunette beauty also cooled down with an ice cream as she checked out the pottery on a souvenir stand.

However, it seems that Kelly was being checked out herself.

She wrote on her official Twitter last night: 'In Naples! Men are looking at me like I am Gelato!! Are there women in Italy??'

Kelly flew out earlier this week to the island of Ischia, which is in the Bay Of Naples, for the annual film festival.

However, there's been no sign of her hunky boyfriend Thom Evans as yet.

Kelly is certainly enjoying herself regardless.

She wrote on her Twitter in the early hours of this morning: 'Just took a boat ride home under a full moon with beautiful people. Viva Italia'.

Fans of Kelly - and probably a lot of those Italian men - will be hoping that Kelly pays a visit to the beach which she's there.

The model has teamed up with New Look to launch a swimwear range which has proved popular with stars of The Only Way Is Essex.

Kelly could use her holiday as a chance to model her own pieces while topping up her tan at the same time.

Serena Williams steals the show at the ESPY Awards in plunging pink minidress

She made a triumphant return to the tennis circuit at Wimbledon last month after having almost a year off due to illness.

And last night Serena Williams scored another ace as she successfully managed to steal the show at the ESPY Awards as she posed on the red carpet wearing a plunging pink minidress.

The skintight outfit, which featured detailing to make it look like a suit jacket and skirt, drew attention to Serena's curvy figure and highlighted her most prominent assets.

Serena, 29, accessorised her dress with a sky-high pair of Christian Louboutin gold glitter heels and a detailed gold necklace.

And while sports stars including Maria Sharapova and Hannah Cornett went all out in their outfits, Serena ensured all attention was on her in her eye-catching dress.

Serena is famous for her curvy figure, which is the polar opposite of sister Venus' athletic, muscular physique.

But the sports star admits it took her a while to accept her figure and adopt a healthy attitude to diet and exercise.

She said recently: 'Since I don’t look like every other girl, it takes a while to be okay with that. To be different. But different is good.

'My smile remains my favorite part of my body. Does that count? I think a smile can make your whole body!'

Serena, who was forced to take time out from the tennis world after suffering various injuries as well as a life-threatening pulmonary embolism, also said she has been trying out different exercises to stay in the best shape possible.

Nicole Kidman shines in red at film screening as Irina Shayk tries to steal the spotlight in barely-there dress

She's one of the most classically beautiful actresses of our generation.

And Nicole Kidman looked stunning as she attended a Cinema Society film screening of new movie Snow Flower And The Secret Fan in New York last night.

The 44-year-old actress showed off her figure in an elegant red Elie Saab dress as she posed with husband Keith Urban at the event.

However, Nicole was very nearly upstaged by Russian model Irina Shayk, who stuck to her usual style rules and arrived wearing a barely-there skintight cream minidress.

The 25-year-old certainly caused a stir as she posed for photographers in the outfit, which featured some daring cut out panels at the front and back and showed off the star's long toned legs.

She was also looking tanned, perhaps as a result from her recent holiday in Portugal with her footballer beau Cristiano Ronaldo.

Irina teamed the dress with a pair of Christian Louboutin heels and left her long hair loose.

Nicole, meanwhile, went for a more feminine approach with her accessories, opting for Jimmy Choo sandals, a L’Wren Scott clutch bag and Cathy Waterman jewellery.

Both Nicole and Irina displayed enviable figures as they posed on the red carpet outside the Tribeca Grand Hotel where the screening was held.

But despite Irina's toned physique, she insists she doesn't diet.

'I think that a person can eat what she likes and do some exercises to be in shape- doesn't matter if it's going to be gym or swimming or walking in a park or pilates,' she once told StyleBistro.

'It should be a pleasure as positive emotions always make you beautiful! I personally love going to [the] gym.'

The model, who lives in New York, has managed a long distance relationship with footballer Ronaldo, who she has been dating since last May.

Their romance began just weeks before Ronaldo announced he had become a father to a baby son with an unnamed American mother.

Although the Real Madrid player announced he has 'exclusive guardianship' of Cristiano Jnr, his mother Dolores is helping to raise the child in Portugal.

AnnaLynne McCord and Prison Break's Dominic Purcell put on an arresting display of affection

After finally breaking it off with her on/off again boyfriend Kellan Lutz this year, 90210 star AnnaLynne has found a new love.

The 23-year-old actress and her new man, Prison Break's Dominic Purcell, went public with their fledgling romance on Redondo Beach, Los Angeles yesterday.

The new couple couldn't keep their hands nor their lips off each other as they took their romance to the sand.

At 41, Dominic is a considerable 18 years older than his new girlfriend.

Visiting the blonde beauty on the set of her hit teen drama 90210, the couple couldn't get enough of each other between her takes.

Locking lips in the sand, the British-born Australian-raised actor clasped his hands around his girlfriend's toned bottom as she wrapped her legs around his waist.

Later the pair enjoyed a romantic sunset stroll on the beach where AnnaLynne covered up her bikini body in a purple robe from the cooler evening air.

Back on set, the tenderly ran his fingers through AnnaLynne's hair as they shared a cuddle in-between takes.

The new couple are said to have met and grew close after starring in the upcoming movie Officer Down together.

Dominic was almost unrecognisable with his long dark locks and busy moustache.

He is best known for his role as Lincoln Burrows in serial drama Prison Break, which concluded in 2009, where he sported a shaved head and no facial hair.

He also appeared as the title character in the science fiction drama, John Doe, and played Dracula in Blade: Trinity.

The actor was married to Australian actress Rebecca Williamson, whom he met at the Western Australian Academy Of Performing Arts, where he studied alongside Hugh Jackman.

The couple divorced in 2007 and have four children together, including twins.

Earlier this year, AnnaLynne had been keeping everyone guessing about her relationship status with former boyfriend Kellan.

Back in May it appeared that the former couple were back on after they where spotted in Manhattan together looking cosy before a night out with friends.

The outing came hot on the heels of Kellan taking the beautiful blonde to his brother's wedding on April 30.

The pair donned their finest for the romantic bash at the Lutz family home in Sarah Oriolo, near Valencia in California.

AnnaLynne was also spotted visiting the Twilight actor in Canada, where was filming the next instalment, titled Breaking Dawn.

But it appears that with her new steamy relationship Kellan is clearly out of the picture.

Kellan also confirmed that he and AnnaLynne had called it quits back in June, when he told Ryan Seacrest that he was single.

'We're (AnnaLynne and I) both busy and we're both focused on our work,' Kellan said on Ryan's KIIS FM breakfast show.

'I'm really busy, I don't know if I can say I'm enjoying being single. I just don't have time to focuse on trying to find a girlfriend. I'm very focused on work.'

All throughout yesterday, AnnaLynne was shooting scenes for the new series of 90210, showing off her fantastic figure in a  black halter-neck top bikini and matching bottoms.

Anna joined castmates including Shenae Grimes and Trevor Donovan as the group filmed scenes for the upcoming season four of the programme.

However, as avid 90210 fans will know, Naomi had something of a cliffhanger end to the last series of the show when she revealed to boyfriend Max she was pregnant.

But while shooting scenes with the cast, there was no sign of any burgeoning baby bump on AnnaLynne's slight frame, suggesting she may have made the pregnancy up in a ploy to get Max to stay with her in Los Angeles.

Talking about the pregnancy storyline, AnnaLynne said recently: 'We have completely new show runners. So if they are going to want to get in good with me, they are going to have to make sure that I don't have to wear a big bump for nine months!

'This is Naomi so it could be one of two things - it could either be the truth or it could be a slightly twisted version of the truth because in Naomi's mind she wouldn't actually mind being pregnant because of how much she loves Max.

'I'm leaning towards the latter so I don't have to go through the pregnancy.'

It has also been revealed that Victorious actor Justin Deeley will be introduced as a new love interest for Naomi and will play 'sexy cowboy type Austin', suggesting Max and Naomi's relationship is not set to go the distance.

Privileged actress Kristina Apgar will also be joining the cast as a love interest for Matt Lanter's character Liam.

Apgar will play Jane, a young widower described as a 'quiet beauty torn by guilt - between obligation and desire'.

And, in the poster for the fourth season, there are a couple of notable characters missing.

As well as Trevor Donovan's character Teddy missing from the poster after he announced he would be leaving the show after a few episodes in season four, Gillian Zisner's character Ivy Sullivan is also absent.

In the season finale of the third season, Ivy was seen marrying her boyfriend Raj after he told her he was dying of cancer.

Jake Gyllenhaal removes his shirt as he crosses a freezing lake with Bear Grylls for the new episode of Man vs Wild

He once battled the onset of an ice age in his hit movie The Day After Tomorrow.

But Jake Gyllenhaal took on the challenge of a real Arctic glacier recently as he joined survival expert Bear Grylls to film an upcoming episode of his show Man vs Wild.

The 30-year-old Donnie Darko star stripped of and paraded around shirtless in the sub-zero temperatures as he joined the dare-devil TV presenter in wading across a frozen river.

The two men travelled to Iceland where the set out on an expedition, cameras in tow,to traverse a glacier and make their way to an active volcano in the middle of the island.

'The wild is always very revealing - not only physically but mentally,' Bear Grylls said of his travelling companion.

'You've got to smile when it's driving horizontal hail and be able to face your fears and just get on and do it - and on both of those accounts, Jake came up strong,' Bear said.

After wading through the icy water the men then stripped out of the soaking wet and freezing clothes and stood topless and the snow an hail fell around them.

Laughing in the face of adversity, Jake even threw his mouth open trying to catch the flakes in his mouth.

'Ultimate Survivor' Grylls is heard shouting tips to Gyllenhaal such as 'Pace yourself!' and 'Shake the blood back into your arms whenever you need to!' as the pair scale across a thin rope hung over a 150 feet deep river gorge.

The action-packed episode also included Grylls, 37, and Gyllenhaal lowering themselves into a hole where the carcass of a dead sheep was found.

Although the meat was deemed unfit, protein was had when Gyllenhaal consumed his first worm toward the end of the episode.

The show ill air this Sunday, July 17, on the Discovery Channel and later in the season, Will Ferrell and Ben Stiller will also appear.

You can keep the Porsche... I want the pooch: How more and more divorcing couples are going to war over their pets

The rattle of the letter-box heralded the arrival of another official-looking envelope on Lisa Olson’s doormat. She assumed it was another solicitor’s letter but was not especially fazed, since the division of assets between her and her estranged husband was unlikely to be complicated.

They had been married only a year when her husband packed his bags and left. The sorting out of books, CDs and mementoes was a perfunctory process; they had been renting a flat and, after such a short time together, there were few shared possessions.

But as Lisa opened the envelope and read its contents, her heart sank. Peter wanted the one thing that bonded them emotionally, the only thing that had made them — albeit briefly — a family.

Her ex wasn’t about to fight his wife for custody of a much-loved child. What Peter wanted was Blackie — their cat.

Lisa, 41, a creative artist from Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands, says: ‘I was flabbergasted. He said he’d become “very fond” of the cat and wanted custody, but I felt what he really wanted was to hurt me. I could see this was going to be a bitter and expensive legal wrangle, but I couldn’t bear to lose. Blackie meant the world to me.

‘What hurt me most was that Blackie was my cat; he’d been lent to me by an aunt years before I’d even met Peter. My aunt was ill and felt she couldn’t look after the cat properly. He was just a moggy, with no financial value whatsoever, but he was beautiful, and I loved him like a surrogate child.

‘Blackie always chose my lap to curl up on in the evening. Blackie didn’t love Peter as he loved me. I immediately instructed my solicitor to reply that Peter absolutely could NOT have the cat,’ she says.

The battle lines were drawn though, thankfully, the fight itself was short-lived. In fact, it was settled within a few months, without the couple having to take their case to court. Even so, it added another £1,000 to Lisa’s legal bill.

She says: ‘In the end, it came down to ownership; my solicitor argued, successfully, that my aunt was Blackie’s legal owner and that he was only on loan to me.

‘I was happy with the outcome, but getting there was almost as bad as the breakdown of the marriage itself,’ she says. ‘It was bizarre; I’d heard of couples fighting over custody of a child, but never an animal.’

However, Lisa’s legal wrangle over Blackie is far from unique. A survey out this week says custody battles over pets are becoming as expensive and emotionally-charged as those over children, with 20 per cent of warring couples fighting over their animals.

Joint custody agreements are also becoming more common, with 20 per cent of separating couples drawing up formal access arrangements for their pets.

The survey, carried out by The Co-operative Pet Insurance, found one in ten couples described the pain of losing a pet as more acute than losing their partner.

And, as is often the case in the world of celebrities, where money traditionally trumps good sense, there has been a spate of high-profile court cases involving couples wrangling over a shared pet.

The most recent involved Cheryl Cole, who fought for custody of chihuahuas Buster and Coco when she divorced her husband Ashley Cole last September. It was rumoured that Ashley eventually settled for access visits; an arrangement which, if reports of a reconciliation are accurate, may become defunct.

Perhaps the most bitter case was that of former Big Brother contestants Melanie Hill and Alex Sibley and their fight over Staffordshire bull terrier Poppy, a £70 rescue dog they had bought during their three-year relationship.

The case culminated in court in 2007, where a joint custody arrangement was agreed in which Alex got the dog for two weeks out of every five. The legal bill? A reported — and staggering — £25,000.

Staking everything on a pet is something mum-of-three Nicola Smith, from Wishaw, in Lanarkshire, understands.

The 32-year-old was sued by her ex-boyfriend, Kevin Holmes, for custody of a parrot called Gaz, after they split up last year.

It was an ordeal Nicola describes as ‘absolutely terrifying’. ‘But there was no way I was going to let Gaz go without a fight,’ she says.

Nicola had bought the parrot for £240 from Kevin’s cousin in 2004.

‘He was a fantastic bird. He grew particularly fond of my ten-year-old daughter, Shannon. He’d sit and watch her playing in the garden. He was happiest sitting with us on the sofa, watching EastEnders (he loved the theme tune) as he nibbled on a cracker.’

When Nicola’s relationship with Kevin floundered, the one thing he insisted on was custody of the parrot. ‘He said the bird was his, as he’d been bought from his cousin, even though the money had come from my savings.

‘But that wasn’t the point. Gaz seemed to hate Kevin — he was always teasing him. The kids loved Gaz so much, they would have been devastated to lose him. I couldn’t let that happen.’

The court eventually found in Nicola’s favour. ‘Lots of people couldn’t understand why I was putting myself through so much stress for a bird, but they didn’t understand our attachment to him,’ she says.

‘He wasn’t just a pet, he was a member of the family. I knew I could have been liable to pay the court fees if I’d lost, but it was a risk I had to take.’

As zealous as Britons can be when it comes to custody of their pets, it seems the Americans still trump us. Family courts in the U.S. have heard depositions from divorcees relating to parakeets, horses, monkeys, tarantulas and, in one instance, a frog, which showed its disdain for the drawn-out proceedings by dying mid-case.

Growing fat on the proceeds are the lawyers. Several legal firms in the U.S. earn significant sums from negotiating animal pre-nups, the drafting of visitation rights, and pet-related financial bequests. A new breed of specialist ‘pet lawyer’ has emerged who advertise their services using slogans such as ‘You Get the Car, I Get the Cat’.

So is the UK heading down the same path? Well, lawyers say we’re not far off. Martin Loxley, head of family law at the Sheffield-based solicitor Irwin Mitchell, says: ‘Pet custody cases are still rare in this country, but they do happen.

‘They usually involve childless couples for whom the pet has become a surrogate. A lot of tears have been spilt in our offices over dogs and cats.’

Martin recalls the case of a couple who signed a legal agreement to share two Labradors after their divorce.

The dogs now swap homes every weekend, in an arrangement which has worked successfully for several years.

More often, however, couples fail to reach a compromise, and the animal ends up in limbo. London’s Battersea Dogs Home cites divorce as the most common reason for animals being left at the shelter.

Such was the case with Hayley Unsworth, a 28-year-old lettings manager from Altrincham, in Cheshire, who bought a black Labrador puppy, Paddy, during her seven-year relationship with her ex-fiance.

‘We thought long and hard about buying a dog, but not about what would happen should we break up. It’s something I regret terribly,’ she says.

They split up in 2007 and Hayley moved out of their three-bedroom house into a flat, which was unsuitable for a dog. ‘My ex took the dog with him when he moved in with his dad while we sold the house. I assumed it was a temporary arrangement until I found a more suitable property.’

Unbeknown to Hayley, her ex arranged for Paddy to go to a dog rescue centre, from where he was placed in a new home.

‘My ex broke this news to me in a very matter-of-fact way a few weeks later, while we were talking through the papers relating to the sale of the house,’ Hayley says.

‘I couldn’t speak, I was so upset. I still think about Paddy every day, and have a photo of him by my bed. Whenever I see a black Labrador playing with a family on a beach, I wonder if it’s Paddy.

‘I can understand couples who spend thousands of pounds fighting for a pet but unfortunately it’s too late for me. I’ve lost Paddy forever.’

The Brazilian-style underwear is more comfortable than a thong

They promised to boost women’s confidence by providing a flattering and stylish solution to the dreaded visible panty line, or VPL.

But it seems Brazilian-cut knickers have also helped put a spring in the step of Marks & Spencer bosses.

Sales of the underwear have soared by 64 per cent in a year, with 500,000 pairs snapped up since the store introduced a three-for-£10 offer three months ago.

Designed to avoid creating lumps and bumps under clingy summer dresses and fitted trousers, the knickers are cut high on the leg, making legs appear longer.

And it was revealed yesterday that their popularity with shoppers has helped drive the chain to a robust trading performance against the background of a struggling High Street.

And, despite the cool summer weather, sales of M&S swimming costumes are up 50 per cent on last year, while £49.50 maxi-dresses have been flying off the shelves.

Total like-for-like sales across the  store grew by 1.7 per cent in the 13 weeks to July 2 compared to the same period last year.

The thousands M&S invested in hiring a Victoria's Secret model for their lingerie campaign looks to have paid off.

Soozie Jenkinson, Head Of Lingerie Design said: 'In 2005, we designed and launched the Brazilian knicker shape.

'Cheekier than the boyshort, but more covering than the thong, this first to market knicker shape was inspired by the bikinis worn by women on the beaches of Rio, hence the name The Brazilian.

'Delivering feminine style with a smooth flattering  no VPL, this shape has become out fastest growing knicker style and now is available in lace, embroidery, silk and natural fibres.'

Daisy Lowe to swap the catwalk for the centrefold as she prepares to strip off for Playboy

She recently admitted that it took her a while to get used to her curves and accept that she wasn't as skinny as her fellow models.

But now, Daisy Lowe's womanly figure is set to be celebrated in one of the world's most famous publications.

The young star is believed to be stripping off and baring all for Playboy magazine.

According to reports, Lowe, 22, the daughter of designer Pearl and rocker Gavin Rossdale, will strip off for the September issue of the publication.

According to Spinner.com, Daisy will follow in the footsteps of rock icon Mick Jagger‘s daughter, Elizabeth Jagger, who was recently featured in a nude shoot for the mag.

Daisy, who is dating Doctor Who star Matt Smith, will fly to California and do the shoot at founder Hugh Hefner's famous Playboy mansion.

This will not be the first time that Daisy has stripped off for her job.

In 2009, she bared all for i-D Magazine and the previous December she stripped off for Paradis Magazine.

She also walked the catwalk for Agent Provocateur in nothing more than knickers and nipple tassels.

And she appeared in last year's Pirelli calendar and said she really enjoyed getting her clothes off.

She said: 'It was quite freeing, being able to be naked for a week.'

Daisy is clearly more than comfortable in nothing but her birthday suit for the camera.

However, she has kept her modelling tasteful since meeting Smith, 28.

And while her liberal mother Pearl may not disapprove, as long as it's done tastefully, it is still uncertain what her father will make of it.

Paris Hilton steps out in unflattering pink dress

Paris Hilton is known around the world for her enviable svelte frame.

So it was a surprise when she was seen in LA yesterday showing off a curvier figure in a fitted bright pink dress.

Paris was arriving to join Mario Lopez on stage for celebrity entertainment show Extra at shopping mall The Grove in Los Angeles.

Paris flaunted her toned legs and arms, but the tight dress betrayed a bulge in place of her normally flat stomach.

She teamed her dress with an equally eye catching necklace, with high patent black heels and sunglasses and let her trademark blonde hair fall loose over her shoulders, maintaining her 'Barbie' look.

It is possible that a more relaxed attitude to her diet has led to the change in the star's figure.

Paris has been dating Hangover Part II director Todd Phillips, who she was spotted dining with at Hollywood's Madeo restaurant last night.

Paris dispelled the myth that LA starlets don't touch carbohydrates as she tucked in to lasagne, while Todd ordered the ravioli.

Paris was probably in need of a little relaxation following an alarming break in to her Malibu beach house over the Fourth of July weekend.

She had previously filed a restraining order against the intruder, who was luckily spotted by nearby paparazzi as he tried to enter the building.

Paris said she was thankful that the paparazzi had been there, even though she sometimes finds them 'annoying'.

Always comfortable in front of a camera, Paris recently took part in an edgy photo shoot for V magazine looking much thinner than the paparazzi snaps from The Grove yesterday.

Paris wore heavy make-up and a risqué S&M wardrobe for the V shoot, and was barely recognisable in some of the photos.

Despite being a far cry from her usual look, Paris's slender body was in far greater evidence that it was yesterday, as she bared a perfectly toned stomach under a large Gothic-style coat.

Danielle Lloyd asks fans to pray for her newborn son as she gives birth 10 weeks early

Danielle Lloyd has taken to Twitter to ask fans to pray for her newborn son after she gave birth 10 weeks early.

The 27-year-old model admitted she was feeling 'very emotional' after welcoming the 4lb 4oz baby boy into the world.

She tweeted: 'Thanks 4 all ur kind messages... Feeling very emotional please pray 4 our little boy hope he can be home with us soon X.'

The little boy is the second child for Danielle and her 24-year-old fiancé Jamie O'Hara and hadn't been due until September.

Danielle and Jamie's son is now being treated in the special care unit at a
hospital near the couple's home in the Midlands.

Jamie announced the birth on his Twitter page this morning, writing: 'Danielle has delivered our baby this morning 4lb 4oz, 10 weeks early.'

However, Jamie assured Twitter followers that his fiancée was fine following the birth.

He added: 'Baby and Dan are ok, just letting the hospital look after him.'

In an interview earlier this week, Danielle said she was looking forward to getting back into shape after having the baby.

She told Closer magazine: 'I’ll get a trainer and go to the gym at least three times a week once the baby arrives. I’ve basically been pregnant for the past two years, so I can’t wait to get my body back.

'I’d like to be 9st and a size 8 before my wedding. If worst comes to worst, I’ll consider lipo!'

Danielle was shocked when she found out she was pregnant again just four months after the birth of Archie.

The couple's announcement they were expecting again came just a few months after they nearly split following a string of rows.

Danielle and Wolverhampton Wanderers player Jamie started dating in April 2009 after meeting after their local gym in Essex and got engaged in Paris eight months later.

Three months after the birth of Archie the couple announced they had called off their wedding as they struggled to adapt to life as new parents and Danielle battled post-natal depression.

Speaking last year about her post-natal depression, she said: 'Having a newborn baby was hard, with the lack of sleep and everything else. I was stuck in my own little world and I didn't want to get up.

'We almost thought that we had to act older because we are parents, but we’re young and we’re allowed to enjoy ourselves.'

But Danielle and Jamie rekindled their relationship and are now planning to marry in May 2012.

Britney's mother Lynne Spears defies her 56 years in swimsuit snap

She may have three children and three grandchildren but one thing is for sure - Britney's mother Lynne Spears is looking in great shape for her 56 years.

The grandmother who has penned two books with her daughter showed off her fabulous figure in a black swimsuit as she played in the pool with her grandchildren.

Lynne was looking trim in the low cut one-piece as she enjoyed spending some quality time with the little ones in a Dallas hotel pool.

And Britney’s boys Sean Preston, five and Jayden James, four, seem to be having a great time as they pose up against the glass with Britney’s oldest proving quite the swimmer, posing open eyed underwater.

In her arms Lynne is carrying Jamie Lynn’s daughter, three-year old Maddie Briann Aldridge.

The Mississippi-born mother of two has been supporting her oldest daughter Britney on her Femme Fatale tour which will see the 29-year-old on 33-dates across America.

Reviews of the show have been hugely positive, and the star's decision to sing live has been particularly praised.

Britney and her mother haven’t always enjoyed such a close relationship.

Lynne has even written a book about bringing up children in the public eye entitled Through The Storm: A Real Story Of Fame And Family In A Tabloid World.

In the book, she describes her feelings at watching her daughter's public cries for help and her fight to remove Britney's so-called 'manager' Sam Lutfi from her life.

Recalling the night in February 2007 when Britney shaved her head, Lynne told Heat magazine: 'I knew she was hurting, but when I saw this happen, I was in shock. I didn't know what to do.’

Earlier this month it was revealed that Britney’s ex-husband Kevin's family are selling items from their wedding in a bid to cash in on the ill-fated romance.

Kevin Federline’s grandfather, Earl Story, has just put several items up for auction on eBay from K-Fed's glory days with the pop princess.

Among the items up for sale is the elegant invitation to the former couple's wedding, with bids starting at $1,000.

Also included is a hat that Kevin wore to an awards show with his then wife.

There is an invitation to one of Britney's baby showers and 14 wedding pictures, some of which are said to have never been seen before publicly.

Britney and Kevin were married in 2004, at a private residence in Studio City, California, after three months of dating.

The couple had two sons, and were divorced two years after they tied the knot.

A message posted on the eBay auction page says Kevin's grandfather is selling the items 'to help fund his retirement'.

Danielle Lineker glams up for shopping trip in skintight leopard-print trousers

We're used to seeing Danielle Lineker in figure-hugging dresses or skimpy bikinis.

But it appears even when she's dressed down shopping, she still manages to look glam.

The Welsh model, 32, showed off her trim figure in a pair of skinny leopard-print jeans and white long-sleeved T-shirt as she pounded he streets of Chelsea's King's Road yesterday.

At one point, Gary Lineker's wife caught sight of a friend driving past and flagged them down for a chat.

Since marrying the Match Of The Day host two years ago, Danielle has broadened her career aspects.

She made her stage debut playing Elaine in the touring production of Calendar Girls earlier this year and is hoping to land more acting work.

And of course she showed off her cooking skills when she came third in Hell's Kitchen two years ago.

But in recent weeks, she's been taking it easy.

After a holiday in Miami with husband Gary, the couple attended Royal Ascot last month, where Danielle appeared to win some money.

Mrs Lineker also writes a beauty column for the Daily Mirror and has recently been giving tips on which fake tan to use.

Danielle and Gary started dating in 2007 after meeting on a blind date and announced their engagement a year later.

The couple wed in Italy in an intimate ceremony in September 2009.

Danielle is mother to nine-year-old Ella from a previous relationship, while Gary has four sons with ex-wife Michelle.

Emma Watson struggles to hail a cab during a shopping trip with friends

She has just finished promoting one of the biggest upcoming movies and is one of the most recognised faces in the world.

But it appears that Emma Watson's famous face didn't work in her favour today, as she struggled to hail a cab on a busy New York street.

The 21-year-old Harry Potter spent some time on the road chatting to a taxi driver, trying to explain which direction she was travelling in, but he turned her down because he was off-duty.

Perhaps it was the actress' dress down attire that didn't catch the cabbies eye, to perhaps make an exception for the star.

Emma has spent the last few weeks in an array of stunning designer dresses, but today the she opted for some more low-key casual attire as she takes a well earned break from the spotlight.

The elfin beauty slipped into a pair of skinny legs jeans, a baggy grey sweater and some flats for her outing in the Big Apple.

She accessorised with a cream satchel and some fifties style shades and slicked her short brunette crop back with a headband.

Earlier in the day, she was out shopping with friends at stores including British favourites All Saints and Topshop.

They also stopped by a street stall to look at some jewels.

Emma walked the red carpet for the final time for Harry Potter on Monday night.

The actress dazzled in a stunning strapless bronze creation by Bottega Veneta at the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 in New York.

Emma, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint were joined by other stars of the film including Tom Felton and Alan Rickman, and celebrity guests Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick and Seth Green at the event.

Of her dramatic gown, Emma said: 'New York is such a fashion capital, I felt I could push the envelope a bit. With London I went a bit more classic (in her fairytale Oscar de la Renta dress) but for today I wanted to do something edgier.'

The 21-year-old wore her gamine crop slicked and looked very grown up in elaborate gold leaf eye make-up.

Earlier in the day, she slipped into a glittering minidress for an appearance on The David Letterman Show.

On the show, Letterman grilled the young actress, especially about her co-star Daniel Radcliffe's recent admissions about drinking.

The fellow Harry Potter star recently shocked his fans with an admission that he's sober after struggling with an addiction to alcohol.

In an interview with GQ, Emma admitted he had become reliant on drink to help him cope with life in the spotlight.

The young man sketches a past where he was, by his own admission, 'f***ing up all the time,' but co-star Emma Watson, who has worked closely with him on the franchise for a decade, claims she knew nothing.

During the awkward interview with Letterman, Emma was quizzed about Radcliffe's admission - and her attitude towards alcohol.

Of Radcliffe and his former vice, she said: 'To be honest, it's really not something that I genuinely know much about.

'But as far as I know, he never took a sick day. He was like the most professional, amazing guy ever.'

The actress then admitted she and Radcliffe have a very different relationship when it comes to their consumption of 'controlled substances.'

'I mean, yes, I have tried spirits! Of course, I've tried spirits,' she admitted awkwardly.

'I mean err, there are substances, whiskey... I'm dying here,' she stammered and giggled as she tried to avoid the question.

Watson, who was pictured looking the worse for wear at the after-party for London premiere, then added: 'We drink at 18 in the U.K.! '

But she hastily pointed out: 'But I'm actually legal to drink now in the US. It's worth mentioning, I'm 21!'

Despite Watson pleading to move on from this line of questioning, Letterman doggedly persisted with the topic until Watson relented.

She said: 'Yes I have been drunk once in my life, as everyone does. I've got drunk, I've been drunk and I'll bow to that.'

Radcliffe made the admission that he's been teetotal since August, after recognising a problem.

‘I became so reliant on alcohol to enjoy stuff,’ he told GQ magazine.

‘There were a few years there when I was just so enamoured with the idea of living some sort of famous person’s lifestyle that really isn’t suited to me.’

‘I’m actually enjoying the fact I can have a relationship with my girlfriend where I’m really pleasant, and I’m not ****ing up totally all the time.

‘As much as I would love to be a person that goes to parties and has a couple of drinks and has a nice time, that doesn’t work for me.’
