Rahul Mahajan and Dimpy Ganguly visited the Sidhhivinayak temple

Rahul Mahajan and Dimpy Ganguly put up a show of togetherness in public for the first time today after a quarrel on Friday when the Kolkata-based model walked out to return the same day following an apparent patch up.

The couple who got married just in March this year visited the famous Sidhhivinayak temple here this afternoon to seek blessings.

"We have no issues between us and I love my wife. We are together and therefore came to take blessings of the God," Rahul, who kept his arm around Dimpi's shoulders, told reporters.

However, Dimpi. who had earlier spoke of her marital woes and physical abuse, refused to speak to the media.

Dimpi, 22, walked out of Rahul's home on Friday accusing that her husband punched, kicked and dragged her by hair.

She married 36-year-old Rahul, son of late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, with much fanfare in a reality show "Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega" in March.

Dimpi had told media, "Rahul beat me up early on Thursday morning after waking me up to know the contents of a message that had beeped on my phone. When I asked him to go back to sleep, he flew into a rage and began hitting me. He punched, kicked and dragged me by hair.

Dimpy showed bruises on her shin and hands. Her left cheek was also swollen and she had a lump on her head.

The model, who had left her husband's home vowing never to return, told reporters that she had had a "conversation" with Rahul, who expressed regret. Dimpy returned to the Mahajan residence in Worli on the same day on Friday.

Rahul's former wife Shweta Singh, who was his childhood friend, had also accused him of physically abusing her. The couple got divorced in 2008 after which Rahul participated in Colors' reality show "Big Boss".

He continued to be in the limelight for his closeness with co-contestants Monica Bedi and Payal Rohatgi.

Incidentally, Rohatgi too had alleged harassment by Rahul, saying he has been calling her asking for a second chance.

Sonam Kapoor refuses to kiss Shahid Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor won't kiss her Mausam co-star Shahid Kapoor
and was shocked when she was asked to do so at the last minute, during the Scotland schedule.

It took her completely unaware as there had been no talk of any kissing scene when she signed on. She was never told that there would be a liplock with Shahid. No mention of it was made even during the detailed script narrations.

Says a unit source, "Sonam was taken aback when the director (and co-star Shahid's dad Pankaj) told her about it. She flatly refused."

There was high drama on the sets with Pankaj frantically calling Sonam's dad Anil in desperation to save the situation. But the actress was adamant.

Adds the source, "It was at Shahid's behest that a kissing scene was created. He put forth the idea to his father who complied with his request. Shahid feels that like Aamir Khan he, too, should kiss all his heroines. He felt it would add more passion to the scene."

Sonam maintains, "There was no kissing scene in Mausam. It's complete fabrication that I refused to do such a scene."

But the source says, "When Sonam realised that it was her hero's demand, she became even more adamant about not doing the kiss and was in no mood to listen to anyone on the subject."

Incidentally, Sonam kisses Abhay Deol in her home production Aisha which releases this week. Shahid has locked lips with Kareena Kapoor
(Jab We MetKaminey) and Anushka Sharma (Badmaash Company).

Katrina to join John Abraham on Kaakha Kaakha

Dostana 2 being postponed to late- 2011 has given John Abraham free time to start shooting the Hindi remake of Kaakha Kaakha with director Nishikant Kamat.

The actor starts shooting for Kaakha Kaakha this week. His Dostana 2 leading lady Katrina Kaif finds herself with free time on her hands and might end up pairing with John in this film.

Producer Vipul Shah commends Tarun Mansukhani for his decision to postpone Dostana 2. "It's commendable that Tarun  decided to wait until he was happy with his script. We were to start our remake of  Kaakha Kaakha in April but we pushed it ahead as we were not happy with our script. We've now revamped Kaakha Kaakha."

Vipul says Johnny Boy's leading lady is yet to finalised. Here's where John's project stands to benefit further from the postponement of Dostana 2. Katrina Kaif, a dear friend to both John and Vipul Shah, is being  asked to take over the leading lady's place in the project. And apparently KK is on. When contacted, Kat says the sudden postponement of Dostana 2 has left her dates diary disengaged. "Something else is being worked out," she offers evasively.

So if not Dostana 2, Kat will do the Kaakha Kaakha remake with John.

And Once Again not my comeback film: Antara Mali

Glamorous Antara Mali, who has gone bald for Amol Palekar's forthcoming film And Once Again, admits it wasn't easy shaving her head. Last seen on the big screen five years ago, she also says this is not her comeback film. "Shaving your head is not an easy thing to do. I did suffer later, related stories but I still have no regrets," Antara told IANS in an interview.

"When Amolda told me that I would have to shave my head for the role in the film, my initial reaction was just excitement because these are opportunities that don't come to you too often and even if they come they come at a wrong time.

"For instance, If I was deep in my career, I wouldn't have been able to do something like this because you are committed to other films so you can't shave off your head, but it came to me when I had no commitments in my life. I could just do whatever I wanted. So I was feeling so free," she said.

Antara, who made her acting debut in 1999 with Prema Katha, went on to do films like Mast, Khiladi 420, Company, Road, Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon and Naach.

Antara NaliShe also produced and directed Mr Ya Miss in 2005 that failed at the box office. Antara hasn't been seen in a film since then and she got married last year.

"I retired after Mr Yaa Miss. I think that at that point, I'd hit a dead end in terms of what I wanted to do. I wasn't very sure and then I thought that I didn't feel like working. All of us go through that phase," she said.

"I'm still not ready to come back and And Once Again is just a one-off film that I'm doing. It's not my comeback film," Antara added.

Directed by Palekar, And Once Again is an English film that features Antara as a female monk in Sikkim. The film also stars Rajat Kapoor and Rituparna Sengupta and is slated to hit screens Aug 13.

Throwing light on her character, the 30-year-old said: "It's a very quiet performance and unusual because of the nature of the role."

"I don't think I would have been able to do this a few years back. There has been a certain growth as a person in me and I think whatever I have felt and experienced sort of just evolved in this character," Antara said.

So what preparations did she do to essay her role with perfection?

"I did exactly what Amolda told me. That's the best part of working with someone like him. When you are working with him, you just give yourself up, you do whatever he says.

"Also, I interacted with monks when I was in Sikkim. I did some amount of research about how they talk, the way they look and all that, but more than all that when you are playing someone, you bring something from your own life and inject that into the character to make it real. It just works out that way," she said.
