Barbara Mori's Bollywood debut Kites opposite Hrithik Roshan came and sank without a trace. Ever since, the Mexican actress has been missing in action.

However, now it seems that fans of Barbara would get to see her in the Spanish film La Mujer De Mi Hermano (My Brother's Wife). The film is being dubbed in English and Hindi for the Indian market as Spanish Beauty (A Beautiful Wife).

The film has been in the news off-late for its steamy love making scenes featuring Barbara Mori. While the international version does feature all the intimate scenes, viewers in India wont get to see them. The Censor Board has cleared the English version of the film to be released in India with an 'A' certificate but that too only after asking all scenes involving frontal nudity to be cut. As for the Hindi version, the Censor Board is yet to review the film but the buzz is that the Hindi version will have even more cuts keeping Indian audiences sensibilities in mind.

‘Munni’ Malaika Arora Khan: 2.5 crore offer for New Years Eve

‘Munni’, Malaika Arora Khan has reportedly been offered an astounding Rs.2.5 crores for her performance on the item number from Dabangg.

However not one to take things at face value Malaika has gone on setting up certain conditions which the organizers have to follow. There are several offers according to reports and nothing has been finalized as of now. But with talks going on in full swing a final deal is soon in the offing.
Every year top B town performers get hefty amounts of money to make their kitty heavier by a few thousands or lakhs depending on the popularity of the number.

Several Bollywood actresses have been getting these very exclusive performance offers and hot amongst them have of course been Bipasha Basu and Mallika Sherawat. Both have bagged lakhs into their kitties
The song ‘Munni Badnam Hui’, from the super hit film Dabangg was much in the news for its use of the balm mentioned in it. The film makers were dragged to court by the trademark license holders of the balm but then an amicable out of court settlement was agreed into by both parties. The song proved to be one of the biggest USP’s of the film.

Malaika Arora Khan gained more popularity and this New Years Eve it seems that Munni is all set to bring in the flavor of the hot item number with a live performance for the lucky few who can afford to make it to the high end venue-whichever it might be!

Smoking Aishwarya is hot for wrong reasons

On posters and in promos for her new film, Guzaarish, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is seen smoking casually.  Three days before the film releases, anti-tobacco activists have launched a protest, demanding that the film's makers remove those shots from publicity material. 

Bollywood and Aishwarya, they say, influence young people. And in a country where 10 lakh people die every year from smoking-related diseases, stars and their directors need to be more responsible, they contend.

''We know that we are playing into the hands of the films producers by giving their film more publicity but our concern is public health,'' says Dr Pankaj Chaturvedi, an associate professor at the Tata Memorial Hospital.

But the contentious scenes from the film, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and co-starring Hrithik Roshan, have been on air for a month - and the last-minute protests are being questioned for being cunningly crafted for maximum publicity.

Anurag Kashyap, who directed the film No Smoking three years ago (it starred John Abraham) says public interest is not the motivating factor.  ''During my film's release, No Smoking, the protestors shut up the moment I paid money.'' 

The government tried a few years ago to turn all films into no-smoking zones. But the industry argued that would amount to censorship and infringement of its creative license. So as a compromise, the Censor Board decided that scenes will be dropped if they glorify smoking.

Guzaarish has passed that test.

And the producers say they have no plans to alter their publicity material or the actual film.
