Lindsay Lohan seeks financial help from Britney Spears's adviser

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is seeking advice from singer Britney Spears' accountant to get her finances back on track.

Lindsay's finances will be taken care of by Lou Taylor, Tennessee businesswoman who resolved Spears' problems earlier.

"Lou has been working on fashion deals for Lindsay including the Marc Ecko ads and a deal with a Russian fashion company," 

Lohan has earlier been hit with legal issues including a lawsuit from a Los Angeles boutique over an allegedly unpaid bill, which she settled this month and an expensive court action in which she is suing an advertising firm over claims they parodied her in a recent promo.

The Mean Girls actress was jailed last month for breaching her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI arrest.

Upon her release, after just 13 days, she was ordered to spend 90 days in rehab at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. But Lohan was discharged from the rehab Tuesday.

The judge presiding over Lindsay's probation has asked her to stay in Los Angeles until Nov 1.

UK to see the release of Peepli Live on September 24

The recently released Aamir Khan’s home production Peepli Live is now going to release in the theaters of UK on September 24. The movie has already received critical acclaim as well as box office success in India. A source close to producer Aamir Khan was quoted saying that he is planning an extensive tour in UK to promote the movie.

Khan has also requested his fans in Britain to watch the movie only after its official release and not on pirated DVDs or downloads. He said that the viewers can enjoy the movie in its original form only at the theaters.


Peepli Live earned Rs 24 crore on its launching weekend. It earned another US$ 6, 40,000 (Rs 2.88 crore) from the 109 overseas prints. Being a film with no such big stars, it has got one of the highest openings in overseas market. In the opening weekend, the movie grossed about US$ 3, 64,000 in the US with the release of 64 prints.

It went on garnering US$ 1, 75,000 in the Middle East, where the film was released with 18 prints during ‘Ramadaan’. The source added that the movie added another US$ 59,000 in the opening weekend from the earnings in the countries like Pakistan, South Africa, Singapore, Kenya and Benelux.

Cheryl Cole has been offered £500,000 to strip for Playboy according to reports. 

The X-Factor judge is said to have been offered a cool half a million to bare all as a centrefold for the men's magazine, joining the likes of US reality star Kim Kardashian, 29, and Kelly Brook, 30.

But the 27-year-old Geordie star looks set to say 'thanks, but no thanks', to the offer.

A friend of the Three Words singer told the Daily Star, "Cheryl is incredibly flattered by the offer but she's always been fundamentally opposed to going nude in magazines.

"She reckons it's great if other girls can do it, but it really isn't her.

"People won't believe it but she is actually incredibly shy when it comes to all that stuff."

The insider added, "Cheryl has a fortune of £10million. It's not like she needs the money."
