Her romantic trip Down Under to see new love Shane Warne hardly went according to plan.
Followed everywhere by local news crews and businesses breathlessly cashing in on the couple's popularity, the trip was topped off by the allegations of a porn star who claims she bedded the cricketer as his romance with Liz Hurley was just beginning.
And London-based Chloe Conrad has added insult to serious injury and blasted Miss Hurley branding her 'a mug' for trusting the 'unfaithful' sports star.
The porn-star told friends: 'If Liz was expecting a fairytale romance with Shane then she's a mug,' the Sun reported.
'It's not in his nature to stay faithful.'
And following the news, it is perhaps understandable that Elizabeth Hurley looked a little sour as she arrived back in London last night.
Dressed in sedate head-to-toe black, the 45-year-old model appeared tense as she was ushered through Heathrow.
But it doesn't appear as though her gloomy mood was down to leaving her man behind in Australia.
Warne, 41, dropped her off at the airport in Melbourne the day before and, while they both smiled for the cameras, onlookers reported that there was no show of affection of emotion during the farewell.
And Liz was back on Twitter the moment she walked through the door of her Gloucestershire farm.
But instead of sending a message to her cricketer, she wrote: 'Home Sweet Home.....family, dogs and parrot ecstatic.'
Back in Melbourne, Shane Warne did not look like a man blissfully in love either.
He was tight-lipped as he left his Brighton mansion today, declining to flash the smile that has been publicly on his face for much of the last fortnight.
Elizabeth hinted at cracks in the relationship on Monday when she wrote on Twitter: 'Happy Valentine's Day! Remember, love is like a rollercoaster ride- sometimes it's exhilarating but sometimes u (sic) feel sick and want to get off.'
What was supposed to be a romantic Valentine's Day with her new beau has become a nightmare as she faces renewed allegations about the notorious ladies' man.
It is the second setback in their short romance. In December Elizabeth and Shane briefly split after the cricketer admitted to sending over 100 saucy texts to another woman.
Predictably, Warne made his apologies via Twitter. He said at the time: 'We all are childish, immature at times. It's about how you bounce back when things are tough.'
And now, just one day after their first public outing as a couple holding hands and looking blissfully happy, the relationship has been hit by scandal once again.
A 26-year-old adult film star, Chloe Conrad, has revealed explicit text messages that Warne allegedly sent her and described their seedy night together to a Sunday tabloid.
Chloe claims that she has even been left with a carpet burn scar from her sex session with the 41-year-old Australian sports star, that she has named her ‘Warnie Stamp’.
Fellow Australian Chloe claims her text messages and X-rated meeting with Warne took place as he began dating Liz Hurley.
The porn star claimed in the Sunday Mirror that she even had sex with Shane in the same suite at London’s Bentley hotel, where he later romanced Hurley.
‘If Liz thinks he has changed, she’s sorely mistaken. On the night he was with Liz at the Bentley he was sending texts to me.
‘I never for one second thought I was the only woman. Everyone knows Shane is not the ideal guy to settle down with.
‘Liz is a lot older than me and should be wiser’, the London-based Aussie told the tabloid.
But as the couple flaunted their love at Shane’s former Hampshire team-mate Dimitri Mascarenhas’ wedding, they appeared completely oblivious to the allegations that would soon proceed.
An opportunistic gentlemen's club owner today added insult to injury by sending two of his employees to Warne's Brighton home with a Valentine.
Scott Russell, spokesman for the California Club, said: 'Warnie has an insatiable appetite for the ladies, so we wanted to show him that our girls are ready for him any time.
'We'd certainly offer him a Valentine's Day deal if he came down, even if he came with Liz Hurley!
'But if Liz isn't happy with him about the Chloe Conrad story, he can come and enjoy himself with us whenever he likes.'
Chloe claims that she met Shane through a mutual friend in September last year and later invited him over text message to party with her one night in London.
The cricketer and father-of-three allegedly replied in just over a minute, saying: ‘Hey Chloe, only one night??? Hahaha I’m in… Busy till Monday… But in town for three weeks, be great to catch up xxx.’
Their text messages soon became more heated and Shane is said to have suggested meeting at a hotel suite for a threesome with Chloe and one of her friends, before making sure she’d keep it a secret.
As Shane continued his flirtation with the internet and DVD porn star via text, he was also dating Hurley and romancing the former model with public Twitter messages.
On September 30th, Shane allegedly met Chloe in a Knightsbridge hotel and after chatting about both being from Australia they soon headed to his suite, drank champagne and started ‘making out’, she told the paper.
The saucy text messages between the pair allegedly continued and Chloe claims the star sent her six text messages just hours before having dinner with Liz and her ex Hugh Grant weeks after their meeting.
Shane’s latest message to the young blonde was during Australia Day on January 26, saying: ‘Hey Chloe this is my Aust mobile… Hope your well.. X’
Liz Hurley will no doubt be devastated by the allegations after being photographed hand in hand with Warne at Mascarenhas’ wedding to bride Nadine on Saturday.
The couple has been virtually inseparable in recent weeks and have spending time together Down Under while enjoying the Australian summer.
Shane Warne updated his Twitter account today, oblivious to Chloe’s claims, and posted: ‘Had a great time at my friends wedding last night.. Dimma and Nadine looked great and it was nice to catch up with friends, g8 speeches to!’
Warne has a history of scandal in his private life and separated from his former wife Simone Callahan due to taking part in string of extramarital affairs.
Elizabeth Hurley's representatives refused to comment on the allegations. Shane Warne's were not available.
