Stars are going to many lengths for film promotions leading up to its release day. The latest advertising event was when the on-screen couple of Chance Pe Dance, Shahid Kapoor and Genelia D'souza spent a night in a car together.

actually, this was the first advertising of its kind that Bollywood has ever seen. They were behind tinted glass and slept in their seats with an spectators outside with no makeup or any crew around.

In an interview with the media about the unusual event, Genelia said, “Our characters believe in making the most of each day which is exactly what our attempt suggests.” Shahid added, “It should be fun... Genelia is quite entertaining.”

Shahid, Genilia and Ken Ghosh (director of Chance Pe Dance) didn’t forget about their Twitter followers. From the event, Genelia tweeted, “Havin a gr8 time..Shahid,ken,ahmed n me r freakin out n d media is really liftin r spirits.. Kudos 2dem n 2all of ul who r watchin us: )”

Prior to the event, Shahid simply said, “So I'm spendin da nite in a car”. A few hours later, he tweeted, “Still in da car still awake .... :)” followed by, “Roadtrips r so much fun man”.

Ken uploaded a photo of toothpaste graffiti saying, “Using toothpaste shahid made a poster on the windscreen of the car “.

The duo seemed to be full of energy even after the event, as Genelia sent the following tweets:

“Wat an event.Super super super..Stayd up d whole nite..can't believe I actually didn't sleep a wink..”

She went on to say that the event was very candid with the media with everyone feeling like “one big team”. Finally, “Good night tweeple.. Off 2sleep bein totally satisfied wit d event.. N a big shout out 2all u guys who follwd us on d live coverage “

Judging from his tweets, Shahid said he was sleep deprived and tweeted, “Bak home wat a nite .... Super fun not slept a wink ......”

Future Bollywood film promotions will have to do somewhat quite offensive to top what the team of Chance Pe Dance has done!

Jennifer Lopez prefers being a natural mother

Pop diva Jennifer Lopez prefers following tradition when it comes to family life and is against the usage of any artificial processes to become a mother.

Although many stars have turned to scientific methods to conceive, the 'Maid In Manhattan' star never considered it an option and said she never will.

"When it comes to family and relationships, I'm quite traditional just because of the way I was raised. I also believe in God and I have a lot of faith in that, so I just felt like you don't mess with things like that," said Lopez.

The 40-year-old star plays a woman who decides to have a baby through artificial insemination in the upcoming romantic comedy, 'The Back-Up Plan'.

But Lopez, who is mother to 22-month-old twins Max and Emme with husband Marc Anthony, insisted that she would rather resign to her fate than try this way.

"I guess deep down, I really felt like either this is not going to happen for me or it is. You know what I mean? And if it is, it will. And if it's not, it's not going to," said Lopez.

Megan Fox slammed by health experts for championing vinegar detoxifier diet

HEALTH experts have warned dieters against taking advice from actress Megan Fox.

The Transformers star has been blasted for hailing the benefits of swigging vinegar.

She recently said, "It just cleanses out your system entirely.

"It will get rid of ... for women who retain water weight from your menstrual cycle and all that ... it gets rid of it really fast.

"I'm not one for dieting or exercising, because I'm lazy and I have a really big sweet tooth, so I have to do cleanses every once in a while 'cause of the amount of sugar I take in."

However, experts in the field have dismissed Megan's claims, insisting there is not a single form of vinegar in existence that will help dieters lose weight.

Dietician Lucy Jones said, "As attractive as it sounds, there is no magic pill, lotion or potion for a quick fix to weight loss.

"The body, including the liver, is a well-oiled detoxing machine, which will not be improved by vinegar, whether it be organic, apple cider, unfiltered, or your bog-standard malt vinegar."

Robbie Williams' fiancee Ayda Field proudly sports engagement ring after New Year proposal

The British singer reportedly proposed to his lover Ayda Field over the festive season, after realising he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.

Neither have confirmed the reports, but Ayda was spotted wearing a mammoth diamond rock on her ring finger while supporting Robbie at a charity soccer match in Los Angeles.

“Robbie has obviously spent a fortune on the ring, it looks amazing,” a source said. “Ayda had a smile on her face all afternoon, as did Robbie – especially as his team won the match 4 – 1!”

The 35-year-old singer had planned to pop the question on New Year’s Eve, but was so excited when he took delivery of the ring he actually asked Ayda several days early.

The couple have not yet set a date, but friends have said Williams is keen to get married as quickly as possible so the pair can start a family.

Although they have not finalised their plans, Williams and Field have already received an offer of help organising their big day from an unusual source – Jay-Z.

The rapper is keen to get involved with the preparations for the wedding, adding his wife Beyonce Knowles could arrange the reception as she loves party planning.

“I would be happy to help Robbie organise his wedding. I am sure he will make it an extravagant party,” he is saying.

“I had my 40th last month in the Dominican Republic. That would be a great place for Robbie's wedding. The entertainment at my party was all hot and if Robbie wants my help he should come over for dinner and Bey and I can help him out. She is great at organising parties, she loves it.

"I don't know what Robbie's entertainment plans are but, as a wedding present, I would get up after the speeches and do a little set.”

In November, Robbie sparked engagement rumours after jokingly proposing to 30-year-old Ayda on an Australian radio show. Although he insisted it had been a bit of fun to attract publicity for the show, many took it seriously – Robbie’s mother even bought the couple a congratulations card.

Upcoming Twilight sequel's script leaked online?

The script of the third instalment of the hit vampire series Twilight has reportedly been leaked on the Internet, sending fans into a frenzy.

More than 100 pages of what appears to be the storyline from The Twilight Saga: Eclipse surfaced online in January 5.

A screenshot, purporting to be of the opening page of the script, posted on The Dish Rag blog, shows Jackson Rathbone's name emblazoned across the paper, suggesting the script once belonged to the actor who plays vampire Jasper Hale in the franchise.

Bosses at Summit Entertainment, the production company behind the movies, were previously left red-faced when the manuscript of The Twilight Saga: New Moon was discovered by a hairdresser in St. Louis in May 2009.

The stylist won praise from Hollywood bosses after handing the script in and was invited to the film's US premiere.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is due for release in July 2010.

How many women did Warren Beatty really sleep with?

Peter Biskind's new biography of Warren Beatty, "Star: How Warren Beatty Seduced America," hasn't even hit bookstore shelves yet. But it's already caused an uproar after the New York Post started running some juicy excerpts from the book focusing on Topic A: Exactly how many women did the famous Hollywood lothario actually sleep with?

According to Biskind, who caused a similar media maelstrom with his 1998 book, "Easy Riders, Raging Bulls" -- about the excesses of '60s filmmakers -- it wasn't all that hard, based on "simple arithmetic," to come up with a perfectly plausible guesstimate. According to the Post, Biskind estimates the bedded-by-Beatty women figure at "12,775, give or take, a figure that does not include daytime quickies, drive-bys, casual gropings, stolen kisses and so on." (If anyone can offer a good definition of what might constitute a Warren Beatty "drive-by," we'd love to hear it.)

Biskind's literary formula, judging from his previous books, is pretty simple, combining a shrewd analysis of the filmmaking process with salacious insider stories about sexual adventures and assorted misbehavior. Judging from the Post excerpts, there is plenty of the latter. One offers a glimpse of the young Beatty's affair with Joan Collins, whom he took up with after dumping Jane Fonda. Collins complained about Beatty's insatiable sex drive. As Biskind writes:

    "One Sunday morning, exhausted, Collins stumbled out of bed. Dragging on a forbidden cigarette, she said, 'I don't think I can last much longer. He never stops -- it must be all those vitamins he takes. ... In a few years, I'll be worn out.' Later, a skeptic asked her if they really had sex seven times a day. She replied, 'Maybe he did, but I just lay there.' "

Needless to say, Beatty, now a happily married 72-year-old pater familias, hasn't been taking all of this lying down. Hollywood super lawyer Bert Fields, acting on Beatty's behalf, has popped up, loudly denying that Biskind's book was authorized in any way by the veteran movie star. (Not that anyone who has ever met Beatty would ever imagine in a million years that Beatty would ever authorize a tell-all book about his life.) Still, Fields has worked up quite a head of steam, going on the offensive by telling the Huffington Post that "Mr. Biskind's tedious and boring book ... contains many false assertions and purportedly quotes Mr. Beatty as saying things he never said."

I have two thoughts on this whole issue. First off, if Fields thinks that tossing out the words "tedious" and "boring" will stop people from trolling through the book, eager to soak up all the good, sexy tall tales, I suspect he is sorely underestimating the libido of the American nonfiction reader. And secondly, if that 12,775 figure is correct, imagine how good the late NBA great Wilt Chamberlain must be feeling right now. After all, it was Chamberlain who once famously boasted about having sex with 20,000 women. If even Beatty can't top that mark, then Chamberlain's bedded-by record, along with his career points scored totals, remain records that may never be broken.

Sylvester Stallone reveals he broke neck, needed metal plate, on set of The Expendables

Action hero Sylvester Stallone broke his neck while filming a fight scene with wrestler co-star "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in his latest movie.

The Rocky star has revealed he needed emergency surgery and a metal plate inserted in his neck after the accident on the set of The Expendables.

The 63-year-old told FHM magazine: "Man, it was seven guys, kicking each other's ass, one guy tougher than the next. No joke, our stunt guys were begging for mercy.

"Actually, my fight with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin was so vicious that I ended up getting a hairline fracture in my neck. I'm not joking.

"I haven't told anyone this, but I had to have a very serious operation afterwards. I now have a metal plate in my neck."

The upcoming movie centres on a gang of mercenaries on their way to destroy a foreign dictator and has action fans salivating.

It features some of the biggest names of the genre - including Arnold Schwarzenegger, 62, Bruce Willis, 54, Dolph Lundgren, 52, Mickey Rourke, 57,  Jet Li, 46, and Jason Statham, 37.

It also stars Brittany Murphy, who died in December of a heart attack.

Stallone, who wrote the script and directed the film, said the cast took the stunts to the absolute limit.

"Man, those guys were up for it. They got out of bed at 5.30am just to shoot a small five-minute scene," he told the magazine.

Stallone has experience in getting hurt during filming - having almost died while making Rocky IV.

He said: "Dolph (Lundgren) and I always went for it. I gave him orders to try to knock me out while the cameras were rolling.

"At one point, he hit me so hard on the head I felt my spine compress.

"He then hit me with an almighty uppercut. That night my chest started to swell, and I had to be helicopter-ambulanced from my hotel to a nearby emergency room.

"I was told that Dolph had punched my rib cage into my chest, compressing my heart. If it had swollen any more, I would have died.

"After that, I was like, 'Dolph, it's only a movie, bro'."

Sandra Bullock makes box office history with film The Blind Side

Variety reports that Bullock's The Blind Side became the first film in history driven solely by a top female star to jump the US$200 million mark at the US domestic box office.

No previous films in which Bullock had top solo billing have reached $200 million, nor have any of the solo starring efforts of the likes of Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep, Angelina Jolie or Reese Witherspoon.

Roberts' Erin Brockovich - the film most often compared with Blind Side - grossed $125.6 million domestically. Streep's The Devil Wears Prada fashioned $124.7 million at the US box office.

The only female-driven film that jumped $200 million domestically was romantic comedy My Big Fat Greek Wedding, the 2002 indie hit starring then-unknown Nia Vardalos and Northern Exposure star John Corbett, which earned $241.1 million domestically.

Some female-driven films have found more love overseas. Musical Mamma Mia!, with a cast led by Streep, grossed $144.1 million domestically and a massive $465.7 million overseas.

Socialite daughter of New York Jets owner has died

LOS ANGELES – Casey Johnson, the socialite daughter of New York Jets owner Woody Johnson and heiress to the Johnson & Johnson business empire has died, a spokesman for the family and police said Monday. She was 30.

TMZ.com reported that Johnson was found dead Monday. Police officers responded to her Los Angeles home around 11:51 a.m. where paramedics had already pronounced Johnson dead, officer Sara Faden said.

Faden said she did not know how long Johnson may have been dead by the time authorities arrived.

She said Johnson's death may have been from natural causes since a preliminary investigation turned up no signs of foul play. But Faden added that a final cause of death will be determined by coroner's officials, who will seek toxicology tests. Results of those tests could take six weeks to obtain.

In a statement released through publicist Jesse Derris, the Johnson family says it "is mourning its tragic loss, and asks for privacy during this very difficult time."

Casey Johnson gained celebrity as the girlfriend of Tila Tequila, a reality TV star best known for "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila," which ran for two seasons on MTV.

Tequila's publicist says the two were engaged.

On her Twitter page, Tequila wrote, "Everyone please pray 4 my Wifey Casey Johnson. She has passed away. Thank u for all ur love and support but I will be offline to be w family."

Johnson, a high school classmate of fellow socialite Paris Hilton, told Vanity Fair in a 2006 interview that her decision to turn down Hilton's invitation to be her co-star on "The Simple Life" was "the stupidest mistake of my life." Hilton eventually chose Nicole Richie. "I kick myself in the butt everyday," she told.

It looks like wedding bells for Hollywood A-lister Vince Vaughn and his small-town Alberta girl.

Vaughn wed former Calgary realtor Kyla Weber in a small ceremony in Chicago on Jan. 2, the actor's rep confirmed on Monday.

It's the culmination of a low-profile engagement for the couple, who have stayed out of the spotlight since their romance began. Vaughn reportedly asked Weber to marry him last Valentine's Day. The couple has rarely been spotted in public together, and her friends and family have kept quiet about their relationship.

In promoting his last movie, the romantic comedy Couples Retreat, earlier this year, Vaughn said he was finally ready to settle down and have kids. Previously, Vaughn dated actress Jennifer Aniston, and the two were fixtures in the celebrity media.

Vaughn and Weber, who grew up just south of Calgary, reportedly met at the wedding of a mutual friend.

After (supposedly) working in the costliest film ever made on this side of the planet - Blue - Akshay is now carrying on the BIG phenomenon into the ad world as well. If industry buzz is to be believed, he would now be featuring in the costliest commercial ever made with an Indian actor. This would be for Thums Up (the soft drink for which Akshay is a brand ambassador for quite a few years now) and as is the tradition, it would be shot in foreign locales.

Says a source from the team which is busy putting together this commercial. "Pick up any commercial for Thums Up that Akshay has done and you would see him indulging in some dare devil stunts. This has been the trend for the last half a decade or so, ever since Akshay was been promoting this brand. This year it's going to be no different as the commercial would feature Akshay being a part of some breath taking stunts."

While fast cars, skyscraper jumping and running on busy roads is something that audiences have seen of Akshay in the last few commercials that he has shot for the brand, one waits to see what the actor has to offer in the first shoot that he is doing in 2010.
