Aamir Khan, Rani Mukherjee shooting together in a low key affair

Rani Mukherjee and Aamir Khan’s onscreen chemistry is simply superb. They were seen together in the films “Ghulam” and “Mangal Pandey:The Rising”. The love affair of Tapori Siddharth (Aamir) and flamboyant Alisha (Rani) in “Ghulam” can never be forgotten. After a long time, these two real life friends Aamir and Rani are going to share screen space together in an upcoming film of Reema Kagti, which is not yet titled.

But the shooting is carried on in a hush-hush manner, very secretly inside a vintage Parsi mansion in the Five Garden area for a few days. No outsiders are allowed within the shooting premises, only Aamir, Rani, director and technicians are allowed inside. And the shooting takes place around midnight, after the residents of the Five Garden area go to sleep.

The film is a thriller and this old Parsi building is chosen which will add more thrill to the suspense of the plot. Aamir plays the role of a police officer, having beard on his face.

Rani is delighted to get another chance to work with her friend Aamir after a long time. She said that with the passage of time, her and Aamir’s chemistry have got much better. The duo will be seen playing the lead in this movie.

Aamir Khan to meet fan after Peepli Live screening in UK

Aamir Khan has planned an innovative and interactive session for his fans in UK. Through this, the fans can interact with Aamir himself. The event itself is a special screening of the film Peepli Live, which is scheduled to happen at Cineworld Feltham.

The Feltham Special Screening for Peepli Live will be held on Sept 21st in UK, where two shows will be played at 1915 hrs and 2000 hrs UK time respectively at Cineworld Feltham. This will be followed by an Interactive Q &A with Aamir Khan.

Aamir Khan defeats Amitabh bachchan

 Today is 1st July and perfectionist Aamir Khan has kept his promise. No sooner, he posted his first mail as test mail in the social networking site ‘Twitter’, he has attracted more than 40,000 followers in a duration of 12 hours. His number is more than Amitabh Bachchan who actually inspired Aamir Khan to join Twitter. On the first day, Big B garnered 37,500 followers and Aamir 50,000.

Aamir Khan first thanked Mr. Bachchan. It goes as Bhala gardish falak ki chain deti hai kise Insha, ganimat hai ke hum suratyahan do-chaar baithey hain. Esp for you sir. Love.

Aamir Khan's father, Tahir Hussain passes away

Bollywood producer Tahir Hussain, the father of superstar Aamir Khan, passed away next a cardiac seize, family sources said.

"He had a very big heart attack. Aamir and Kiran, who are in Los Angeles, are flying back. The funeral is likely to be tomorrow evening," sources said.

Tahir is best known as the producer of blockbusters like 'Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke' (1993), 'Zakhmee' (1975), 'Anamika' (1973) and 'Caravan'(1973).

He had also directed Aamir for the first time in his directorial debut 'Tum Mere Ho' in 1990.

Tahir also acted in 'Janam Janam Na Saath' (1977), 'Pyar Ka Mausam' (1969) and 'Jab Pyar Kisise Hota Hai' (1961).

The filmmaker is survived by his wife and two sons, Aamir and Faisal, and two daughters, Farhat and Nikhat.

Aamir, who is in the US with wife Kiran Rao to attend the Sundance film festival where his movie 'Peepli Live' was premiered, is expected to arrive by Wednesday.
