Well, this Bollywood oomph bala has made heads turn wherever she goes or whatever she does on screens. Yet again looks like the actress is going to prove her calibre, by taking a diversion.
The latest buzz is that Kareena Kapoor has been approached for a political drama, which will be helmed by Sudhir Mishra and produced under Farhan Akhtar's banner Excel Entertainment.
According to the director, the film is titled ‘Bhrub’, which also happens to be the name of the central character around which the film will revolve. It's about a man who's an heir to a political family while Kareena here is said to be playing an equally pivotal role.
Earlier, all have tasted Kareena’s acting power in Mishra’s ‘Chameli’, where she played a prostitute and now expectations will surely rise to see her new avatar.
Mishra reasoned that Kareena broke free from commercial films in ‘Chameli’ and that was when people realized the potential that was hidden inside her as an actor. “I intend to do that again as she hasn't been exploited enough as an actor considering her immense talent,” added the director.
Things about ‘Bhrub’ will get started once Farhan wraps up the shooting of his ‘Don 2’.
