Heidi Klum and her husband Seal are buying a Los Angeles property worth $13.4 million

Supermodel Heidi Klum and husband Seal are buying an eight-bedroom mansion worth $ 13.4 million.

The couple have fallen in love with the 12,300 square-foot Mediterranean-style home in Brentwood, Los Angeles and have reportedly had an offer accepted, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Rebecca Ross, a Hilton & Hyland estate agent who had the listing for the property, has refused to disclose the identity of the buyer but said it had sold for "significantly more than the asking price" of $13.4 million.

"There were multiple buyers interested, so there was a bidding war," she added.

The lavish property - which was previously owned by an investment banker - was first put on the market in October after failing to sell at a June auction.

The house boasts eight bedrooms, a kitchen complete with a fireplace dating back to 1603 which was imported from Scotland and a library fireplace which is allegedly from late military leader Napoleon's farmhouse in France.

When Heidi and Seal move into the house, which is part of the Brentwood Country Estates gated community in Mandeville Canyon, their neighbours will include California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and TV journalist Maria Shriver.

Designer Guo Pei, who has witnessed a meteoric rise to success in China, may be dressing up the best in the world of fashion but apparently is not interested to design an outfit for a certain Lady GaGa! According to reports in the media, Nicola Formichetti, the personal stylist of the American pop singer once approached Guo Pei to take certain clothes from her collection to dress up Lady GaGa. Well, even Lady GaGa, who is known to sport some of the weirdest costumes on and off stage, was completely bowled over by the dresses that that reached her home.

According to media reports, one of the dresses was made out of crystal beads and weighed close to 40 pounds! Others in the Guo Pei collection too were very heavy for the singer to wear. If reports are to be believed, Lady GaGa did try the costumes but soon realized that she would not be able to move about in them! As a result, she had to do away with the collection of five dresses which had reached her home beautifully wrapped in silver packets.

So did Guo Pei send other dresses to suit Lady GaGa’s tastes and purpose? While many would have done anything to adorn America’s most popular singer, Guo Pei is not one among the lot. Apparently, the Chinese designer did not bother to parcel any other dresses from her collection to the United States home of lady GaGa. Sad that we will not get to see a crystal beads adorned Lady GaGa wax figure at Madame Tussauds locations!

Britney hits back at her abusive boyfriend

For claims that she was physically abused by her boyfriend, Britney Spears has one message: ‘Kiss My A--!’

The message was meant for ''Star Magazine, Radar Online, Jason Alexander and the rest of you liars" and read, “Ya'll can kiss my lily white southern Louisiana ass!" on Twitter, reports People.com.

The sentiment was prompted by a tabloid report that Spears, who turned 29 Thursday, was abused by boyfriend Jason Trawick. And the singer’s one-time husband, Jason Alexander, was the one who made the allegation.

In the report, Alexander says Spears told him Trawick "beat on me," and RadarOnline posted an audio clip of the alleged conversation between Alexander and Spears. The singer's representatives, however, deny the woman's voice on the tapes belongs to the pop star.
