Mischa Barton glows in a flowing frock and perfect locks

When she burst onto screens as Marissa Cooper in cult teen drama The O.C. in 2003 Mischa Barton became an instant style icon.

Her millions of fans were desperate to emulate the waif-like actress' preppy onscreen look and glamorous red carpet style.

But after she left the show in 2006 Mischa has famously struggled to maintain her career - and her fashion sense.

But the 25-year-old appears to be finally back to her old self after a few years of questionable sartorial choices.

Last night Mischa stepped out in a flowing green maxi dress for the launch party for new fashion website www.pia-michi.com.

The actress looked perfect for the first day of summer with a dewy, glowing complexion and blonde beach-ready hair.

Mischa joined Amy Childs, Michelle Heaton, Lizzie Cundy and Elen Rivas for the party at Iberica restaurant in London.

Earlier the guests were treated to hair styling at the nearby Inanch Salon.

The ladies also had some girly fun trying out dresses from the Pia Michi collection, each selecting one to wear to the party.

Later Mischa stopped by new London nightclub The Box - her second visit to the already infamous venue in as many weeks.

Miss Barton arrived in London last month after attending the Cannes Film Festival.

Things are looking up for the actress in her professional life too.

She has four films slated for release this year, inlcuding The Sibling with Michael Clarke Duncan and Bhopal: A Prayer For Rain with Martin Sheen.

Justin Bieber shows off his basketball skills to girlfriend Selena Gomez

They may be teenagers, but Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's romance is quickly getting serious.

The 17-year-old teen heartthrob took his Disney star girlfriend, 18, back to his hometown in Canada to meet his loved ones.

And it didn't take long before Justin was showing off in front of his pretty other half, as he engaged some friends in a game of street basketball.

Bieber put his sporting prowess to the test as he and his pals went to shoot some hoops as Selena watched on.

Earlier the couple were seen enjoying lunch at the Swiss Chalet in Toronto for lunch with friends and family followed by ice cream.

Also this week, they joined Justin's half-siblings, Jazmyn and Jaxon, and his father, Jeremy, for a Memorial Day picnic.

They certainly seem to be enjoying their stay and yesterday a fan tweeted a picture Bieber giving his love a foot massage.

Their trip to Canada comes just a week after the pair enjoyed a romantic - and very grown up - holiday in Hawaii.

They were seen cavorting around the beach together and put on a very passionate display as they frolicked in the sea.

The affectionate show triggered a slew of death threats from some of Bieber's fans.

'I'm gonna kill ya in the night underneath your smell bed,' one angry fan wrote on Twitter.

Another sent the message:' Selena Gomez is dangerously close to a long, slow painful death.'

Gomez first incurred the wrath of Bieber fans, known as Belibers, after she and the singer went public with their romance.

Bieber's huge fan base on Twitter and Facebook helped him be named as the third most powerful entertainer in the world.

The Canadian born singer has nine million followers on Twitter and a YouTube video of his hit 'baby' has been viewed more than 500 million times.

Has Liz Hurley given Shane Warne a metrosexual makeover? Cricketer shows off his toned figure after losing 22 pounds

Elizabeth Hurley has maintained her stunning figure with a wide array of controversial diets over the years.

But after new boyfriend Shane Warne revealed he's lost 22 pounds over the past few months, fans are wondering if his model girlfriend has influenced his diet.

The Australian cricketer showed off his slimmed down physique in a tight T-shirt today as he launched his clothing line in Mumbai, India.

Standing next to svelte Hurley, 45, in tops from his Spinners range, there was no denying Warne looked better than he has done in years.

Although Warne's manager insisted his new slimline look was down to a health kick of his own decision, many have noticed the sportsman's more coiffed appearance in recent months.

His manager James Erskine laughed off speculation that diet-conscious Hurley had influenced her boyfriend, insisting the 42-year-old was simply getting fitter so he could match his twentysomething teammates in the Rajasthan Royals.

Erskine said: 'He has been on a real fitness campaign since about eight weeks before he went to India.

When you are 42 and you're competing against a team of young 20-year-olds, you have to be fit.'

'His weight normally fluctuates but he is in unbelievable form at the moment. I was with him a couple of weeks ago and he said he was down to 82kg (12st 9lbs).'

Apparently Warne shifted the pounds after cutting down fatty food and alcohol in his diet, drinking more water and shakes and his new routine of daily runs and workouts.

Hurley upset dieticians last year when she admitted she skipped breakfast, Tweeting: 'Mugs of hot water first thing, maybe an espresso and a few oat cakes mid morning.'

She also was said to have followed a cabbage soup diet to lose her baby weight following the birth of son Damien in 2001.

With his poker playing and past reputation for womanising, Warne has always been known as a 'man's man'.

But the Rajasthan Royals captain revealed on Twitter last month, he was started to spend more time on his appearance and had no qualms about admitting to using Estee Lauder moisturiser - the beauty firm which Hurley models for.

He Tweeted: 'Questions re facelift / Botox etc - are absolute rubbish - I am 86kg - lost 7kg and are close to being the fittest I have ever been.

'I am also eating very healthily and am flattered that people think I look younger - I have worked hard over the last 5 months on fitness and lifestyle - it's far from a quick fix - fitness and being healthy is now a daily habit - I feel great and never been happier in my life.

As I said seems hardwork paid off - thanks for all the compliments re looking younger - will keep up my daily routine - big game v KKR tmrw.

'Yes had teeth whitened (18 months ago) - new Estee lauder moisturiser for my skin have made a big difference too - Yes I'm still a man hahaha.'

Warne's launch came after he and Hurley were the guests of honour at a party thrown by Rajasthan Royals owner Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra.

Shetty has been subjected to rumours she is pregnant with her first child in recent weeks so she took to Twitter to decry them.

She wrote today: 'Sick and tired of all the congratulatory msgs and calls,so for the last time "I AM NOT PREGNANT".all this is so annoying..grrrrrrrrr.'

Meanwhile, Hurley has also been working on her Elizabeth Hurley Beach collection.

She Tweeted today: ':In Bombay, finishing work on sampling 2012 kaftans for my collection. All looking gorgeous. Best fabrics in India & best embroidery.'

Hurley and Warne have been dating on and since at least December, when she was forced to go public about her split from estranged husband Arun Nayar after she was photographed kissing the cricketer.

The Estee Lauder spokesmodel insisted she and Nayar, 46, had separated months earlier, but her husband was said to be upset by the photos.

Hurley and Warne were first linked last July after the model was photographed chatting to the Australian at the Glorious Goodwood Festival.
