She gave birth merely two weeks ago but Kym Marsh was back at work at Coronation Street today - but only to pop in and say 'hello' to her pals.
Little Polly was born five weeks premature and 34-year-old Kym has been busy looking after her and visiting her in hospital near the Corrie set in Manchester ever since.
But today, Kym nipped away for a few precious moments for a much-needed break to enjoy the spring sunshine and catch up with friends away from the ward.
Wearing a white vest over a black top, baggy tracksuit bottoms, cosy oatmeal cardigan and white sneakers, the mother-of-three already looked incredibly trim for such a new mother.
At one point, she excited got out her mobile to proudly show some photos of her little girl to co-star Paula Lane, who plays conniving Kylie Turner.
Polly arrived on March 23 weighing just 4lb 1oz but writing in her New! magazine column this week, the star revealed that her 'darling' daughter was 'doing very well.'
Kym wrote: 'She's still in hospital and we don't know exactly how long she will have to stay for yet, but she's definitely a fighter! We hope she gets to take her home soon.'
However, Kym was back looking after the tiny tot tonight as 30-year-old Hollyoaks actor Jamie had gone off to Stamford Bridge in London to watch the Champions League quarter final first leg between Chelsea and Manchester Utd - as a Reds supporter of course.
She wrote on her official Twitter account: 'My Jay @jamielomas1 has gone to the game today! Hope it's a man utd win! Or he won't be a happy man!'
Kym is naturally loving being a mother again and even apologised on her Twitter for her recent absences, saying: 'Sorry I've been AWOL again! Miss polly keeping me busy! She's grrrreat as Tony tiger would say! She is the best!!!'
Jamie is equally in love with the new arrival and wrote: 'Sorry I've not been tweeting, been busy with my,amazing, beautiful, stunning, tiny winee little princess polly x'
Prior to the Polly's arrival, Marsh admitted they were unprepared for the baby and had hardly bought anything for her after losing their son Archie moments after birth two years ago.
The couple were devastated when their son passed away having been born 18 weeks early in February 2009.
But the couple are optimistic their daughter will be able to leave hospital soon and come home to her older siblings David and Emily.
Lomas wrote on his Twitter last week: 'Kym and Polly are both doing really well thanks guys. Hoping Polly will be home soon for a big cuddle off her dad.'
