The film has shot to number six in the UK's box office countdown, making My Name is Khan the maximum grossing Bollywood film opening ever in the UK.
The film, which was released on February 12, garnered USD 1.4 million over its opening weekend.
The film sees Khan play a man suffering from Asperser disease, who is mistaken for a terrorist post 9/11 and undertakes a long journey across the US to prove his blamelessness to the love of his life, played by Kajol.
